Tati is one of a kind. Strong and Beautiful and gets Better and Better each time I hear her. I like when she shows how she puts her mike in a sock to every performance.❤😊
Vlad the drummer is actually classically trained pianist. Somebody approached him and asked him if you want if he would play the drums for the metal band he said okay
I've met them all, and had the chance to tell Vlad he's my favorite drummer since Vinnie Paul. He held his heart, said thank you, have me a big bear hug, and they signed 2 different posters and gave them to me. Super down to earth people.
And you will probably not find a bad song from Jinjer! So many songs to check: Vortex, Disclosure, Pit of consciousness (a f****k banger!), Wallflower (a beautifull song almost all clean from Tatiana, almost 😁); Home back, call me symbol, sit stay roll over, I speak astronomy, scissors, Wh'os gonna be the one, and cherry on the pie: Beggar's dance (just for fun) . Honestly just pick one song and enjoy! This is Jinjer magic trick!
New sub. Yeah these guys are great. I was the same as you. Pisces was one of the first times I really liked serious harsh vocals, other than what David Draiman does. The whole band just sounds so good. So incredibly tight. Guitar and bass tones so killer. Drums so unusual, so varied, so many ghost notes. And that voice! Right away I was like "That's the best most amazing voice I've ever heard." I had to see them live too, but unlike you, I was fortunate to see the videos first, and looked online, and they were playing somewhat near me in two weeks. So I got general admission tickets for a headlining show, and I went in full expectation of having my face melted. Which I did. Standing ten feet from Tatiana. It was a life changing experience bro. You've gotta see em headlining. They'll be in Wisconsin and Las Vegas in April, tickets still available. They just added a third show too. They'll be at festivals too. But you wanna catch em headlining, believe me bro.
Enjoying your Jinjer reactions! You pick up on a lot of the little details in their musicianship that really sets them apart from everyone else. This song is a masterpiece IMO. Great react!
You need to reply to " cloud factory " ; and "just another " . Both offical music videos. Best band on the planet. I've seen them live and meet them twice. Amazing people. Tati's super shy. Eugene * bassist* is the nicest guy. All 4 are super friendly. I've drove 8 hours one way to catch their shows. Lol twice.
Have you ever seen Ben Shepherd play bass? It's so low... he practically drags it on the ground. It works for him though, I guess. I'm happy you're doing more Jinjer. One take vocal of Judgement and Punishment. You won't be sorry.
Nice! I'm not sure Vlad has any direct jazz experience playing drums, albeit he seems influenced by jazz in his playing and choice of sonic palate/textures. He is a classical pianist who learned drums specifically to play In a metal band like Jinjer. You can see Vlad play classical piano here: Rachmaninov - Prelude in C# minor (Op. 3 No. 2) by Vlad Ulasevich (JINJER) Since Eugene doesn't use a pick to play bass, having the guitar up higher locks your upper arm more and allows your forearm to be a bit more relaxed and your fingers do the talking. RE Harsh Vocals: Since much of harsh growling does not use the true vocal chords, the size of a person does not have a direct bearing on how loud, or how low, a person can growl. It's the specific shape of the pharynx, coupled with the singer's ability to shape their throat and, particularly, their mouth to get different sounds and dynamics while growling. Finally, the size of a person's larynx can play a role in growling -- the true vocal chords aren't used, but a larger larynx means more air space, which could play a role as well. Tati can sing clean vocals low for a female, without cracking, which is often indicative of thicker vocal cords....which is typically accompanied by a larger larynx. No way to prove how all of this plays a role for a particular individual without sticking a camera down a person's throat like Will from Lorna Shore did, but probably plays a role in Tati's delivery. Also she has many years of experience so her breath control is excellent. Glad you are enjoying Jinjer! Cheers.🤘
The drummer, Vlad, is a classical pianist and he took up drums as a hobby, his talented is that guy? Tatiana is an absolute beast and a goddess at the same time, she is self taught. They are from the Ukraine and there are some cool interviews out there. The charismatic voice has a one on one with Tatiana on her channel, you should check it out. Welcome to the wormhole, you should check out Judgement and Punishment one take session, it really shows how ridiculous she is...
You should put a spotlight on Vlad and do a double header at some point... Jinjer - Mediator followed by the Vlads live drum cam of the song.. the man is in full beast drummer mode for that little beauty! \m/
Their older stuff is leaning more towards the thrash metal. Outlander is my fav. Sit Stay Roll Over is what got them signed to Napalm Records. As others mentioned, you probably won’t find a truly bad song from them. Maybe some you like less, but none are bad.
Guitar too. He only picked up the drums as the drummer in one of his previous bands quit & they couldn't find a replacement, so he switched from guitar to drums, teaching himself along the way. Mad talent.
Tell me the bassist, Eugene, does not look like Tyrion Lannister in this video!? edit: Another Ukrainian band worth a listen - "Ignea"! Tell Helle "the Aussie" sent you.
This is my favorite Jinjer song. This song fucks so hard. It really shows how unique they are. The time signature is sooooooo sneaky.
If you want guttural, Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (live in Kiev). The 3 minute mark :)

Nice genuine reaction! Jinjer - who is gonna be the one (live) amazing and the one take: Judgement (& Punishment) - Tatiana Shmayluk.

Agreed Pit of Consciousness live will just enhance the "how can she do that" condition.
Noah not one of their best.
@@decay78Noah is a certified banger! 🤘🏼

Right on, this and Vortex 💯👍✌
This song was a hook, line, and sinker for me to dive into their music. They're so good!

I finally saw them live. The entire band is LEGIT!
Pit of consciousness live in kiev

HOMEBACK by Jinjer will knock you out of your chair. Do the music video. It's AWESOME
Holding the guitar way up like that is what I like to call "music school nerd position". John Petrucci does the same.
Masters of their trade!
Jinjer - vortex!!!!!!!

I was suppose to see them back in 2020 just as covid hit, wasn't till Download festival 23 i finally got to see them live.
Tati is a metal goddess!
Vlad is also a right handed drummer that plays open. He's VERY technical for a guy that learned drums later in life.
Check the 3:47 mark in the video. He's playing the drums with the sticks backwards...
Nice!

your concert story... that's one helluva mea culpa, lol.
They are the frontrunners of their genre and beyond. In my opinion together with Gojira and Opeth the European top of the bill.
Tati has lungs of someone twice her size. Thats why shes able to go high 5th octove and so deep and loud on her harsh.
top witch in the biz..........

I seen them last summer and yes you f***ed up
I'm into all an everything metal rock, this band is 💯🔥
You got a sub from me waiting for more
Tatjana, megik....... Dramer Dmitro my lovē,
You should put a spotlight on Vlad and do a double header at some point... Jinjer - Mediator followed by the Vlads live drum cam of the song.. the man is in full beast drummer mode for that little beauty! \m/
Should do " pit of consciousness" live in kieve. Epic screams
Where are you at? I saw them with BB and Disturbed this summer as well. I made a point to be there early. It was a short set. But so very worth it.
Check out judgement and punishment one take. It is just her
The drummer is a piano player) he can play Rachmaninoff, one of the most difficult music composition.
Vlad the drummer was originally a concert pianist. He learned drums on his own out of necessity.
I've seen them live. Do it.
Take a look at the band Once Human. Singer Lauren Hart is amazing ❤
Next one: PIT OF CONSCIOUSNESS LIVE IN KIEVVVVVV
Check out Infected Rain! you will love them.
Their older stuff is leaning more towards the thrash metal. Outlander is my fav. Sit Stay Roll Over is what got them signed to Napalm Records. As others mentioned, you probably won’t find a truly bad song from them. Maybe some you like less, but none are bad.
I love Vlads jazzy blast beats.
That is because JINJER only got 30 minutes to play, then off stage ya go. They basically got screwed...I saw that show Aug. 12 in Syracuse, NY.
Vlad, the drummer is also a classical piano player...was that before drums.
Guitar too. He only picked up the drums as the drummer in one of his previous bands quit & they couldn't find a replacement, so he switched from guitar to drums, teaching himself along the way. Mad talent.
EXCELLENT band...@@shifty7629
no need to understand how she does it...just enjoy...
"Outlander", "Just another", "Ape"
who is gonna be the one live next!
check their history.
Many of jinjer's songs are infused with Jazz.
Yeah, Vlad's kit is a typical Jazz set up; at least placement and height.
Aboud a Vlad and his drumming, did i see wrong,or are his sticks "upside town"
