Does the Terminator X address emissions compliance? There appears to be no consideration for EGR, which is there to reduce oxides of nitrogen. Is there an alternative in the Terminator software to address or control that? Just curious as to how people are complying with registering their cars. Thanks.
Since terminator x only uses high imp injectors; is it better to use low imp and go hp efi instead. 5.3 with twin 66mm turbos street/ strip and have low boost for street and high boost setting when I go to track? I’m new to the game and have been doing lots of research

Thanks for the video. First time with FI. We are building a 4.8L, S475 turbo, 4L80E, drive by wire. Looking at dominator due to the trans and drive by wire but do you think terminator X max will work for my setup? I'm a little worried about how many I/O I will need. What do you think?
For basic setup it's enough...depends how much data or things you wanna have the holley control...like fans or second fuel pump ect. But if you don't have any of these things yes this would work with your turbo setup and control the trans
I notice the harness comes with a knock sensor harness. If you’re not using knock sensors, can you use that channel as an extra input? For example, an inclinometer that is designed to pull timing. Wire it into the knock sensor harness?

I would like to use as much of my factory fuse box as possible. But I’d assume I need atleast relays for my fans and fuel pump. Or can I run them through factory relays
You don t have ground then most likely Is your engine isolated from the chassis or any other component. You probably need a chassis to engine ground or you just don’t have the ground hooked up at all. Watch devins vids. And rewire the car accordingly. I’ve seen a lot of screw ups of guys just not following the directions exsactly. Slow read the directions and you will find the one detail you missed

I'm assuming its all the same just controls solenoids.. thanks for the tip about the map sensor not using an additional input was curious about that
The Holley systems self learning will generally get the car within +/- 3 percent of perfection whish is good for just about anyone more experienced users can from that point dial it in even further.

@@theholleyefiguy Hello. I am try to understand the self learning strategy on this. Do you start a self tuning process and the ecu writes maps accordingly, then runs off of the maps it created? Or is this ecu constantly making tuning changes all the time?
Looking at making the changeover from blow through to holley efi and I think this new terminator x is going to make me switch. Really informative video this answered a lot of questions. One question I do still have is it possible to run the holley 7 inch dash AND the small screen thats included with the harness.

My plans is for a Dominator but now I'm in a unclear decision which one lol. If you had to a option to pick 2 of holley EFI would you go with dominator or the terminator X ?
I really really wish you could configure different crank triggers low impedance injectors and 4....6...8 cylinder engines. That would truly make this system a game changer. It would get so many people converted over to EFI and then if they ever outgrew the capability of their intro system. you could plug in a dominator or an HP. I would buy it right now if I could do those things.

Where are you located I have a s10 I just did a 5.3 in and been waiting to see this thing in depth before purchasing but that cant be any easier they knocked it out the park forsure but I would definitely offer my truck for testing and heck I'll purchase the kit
I had been planning to use a stock harness/ECU, but considering I’d be changing parts in the future, this looks like it’d be more trouble free than getting HPTuners or constantly getting tunes.

So the red and white wire is basically key on switch power ?
What do the wires that are tapped into it for? The green, blue/white, and red. As well as the others on the end where you plug it into your ecu

Just got mine. Installing it on my Gen II LT1, coil over plug, and adding a Vortech V-7 YSI.
Devin if I'm not using drive by wire and the max doesn't control my e4od is there any reason to get the max or just stay with the standard terminator?

Holley says plug and play for ls. Does that mean ls only, or can it be configured to run other other engines?
This is only designed for an ls.
i was told that other systems will be released soon. currently only for ls engines
