In the first POV it looks like he was going to strike it with his left foot, and in the last one the ball pretty much falls down coming in from behind him ready for him to shoot with his right foot. Apart from that this scene was amazing

He doesn't just go psycho, and immediately changes and tries to destroy everyone like other mcs, or shows. He never changes who he is, and always inspires the viewer and the characters to do more. Even if they get obsessed with winning, nothing ever completely dismantles it's themes. He's basically hinata if he never got over what happened in S1 and decided to crush everyone, but still have people have his back and remind him of who he is
when isagi stared niko down while he was crying, after completely obliterating his spirit, i had the widest fcking grin on my face. me and Ego were both grinning from ear to ear. what a beautiful scene
I've seen a lot of sports anime, and maybe it's been done better elsewhere, but this is one of the best scenes that portray just how soul crushing it can be to lose when you give it your absolute best and it's still not enough. I felt sooo bad for Niko, but I also felt the rush that Isagi was feeling. Such a good scene man, I've rewatched so many times

For me the most interesting thing about Isagi is that when I see him use his weapon, I see him more as a 10/attacking midfielder than a pure striker. Even in the previous episodes, he always looked to pass....yeah he strikes me as a 10. I think his weapon is his intuition.....in the sense of, more times than not, he knows where the ball will be.
What's interesting about it is he's actually unlearning his talent as a potential 10, and is instead using it to enhance his abilities as a 9. In just one episode he went from using his vision to pass, to talking down on someone who did the exact same thing and instead using his skill to carry the team as a pure 9.
All things considered, Isagi's style which he makes advantage of others talent and magnify the potential of his team mates remind me of Zinedine Zidane, the best 10 / offensive midfielder of all time, who was famous for his space awareness on the field. Jorge Valdano, one coach of Real Madrid once said about Zidane that "he has the ability to oxygenate the game and make his team mates better". It reminds me Isagi for some reason

At the beginning I felt like Isagi was lucky for being in a team with a variety of weapons that can cover each other’s weaknesses,including his. But as time passes,it’s becoming clearer that his team is lucky to have *him* ,he’s already doing so much subconsciously so imagine when he gets the hang of that weapon? He’ll be unstoppable!

Our boy Isagi has unlock the skill: Hawk Eye. Bachira reminds me of Misato from Tsubasa, hes such a likeable character and skillful player. This moment was pure hype, not expecting anything less from the studio that adapted Reincarnate as a slime.
