Ultimate Family Supercar: My 2+2 Seat Porsche GT3 Touring Transformation!

- Welcome back to RBR, everyone! It’s Raz here, and today we’re diving into a project that's all about transforming my pride and joy-the #Porsche #GT3 Touring-into a family-friendly, everyday #supercar. Yep, that’s right; we're turning this 2-seater track weapon into a car that can handle school runs, grocery trips, and family adventures, all without losing the pure GT3 essence. And I’ll even show you 3 awesome options to help you do the same!
GT3 as a Daily Driver? Let's Find Out!
The GT3 is arguably one of the most beloved track-focused sports cars around, and I love mind so much I almost sleep in it. From runs to the store to spirited drives to clear the head - it's a car that begs to be driven hard. But let's face it, when you’re a family man, even the best sports cars have their limitations. For a 2+2 family like mine, a car like the GT3 often sits in the garage more than on the road, and that’s a shame for a car meant to be driven! The sad fact is, we end up selling cars like these because of this reason too. In this video, I’ll take you through my journey of making the GT3 more practical while keeping all the things that make it such a joy to drive. And to do that, we’ll look at three ways to add rear seating without compromising its track-focused personality.
When I first got my GT3 Touring, I had one goal in mind: add back seats! I’d seen life with a 911 work before in my 992 GTS, where I proved how the space inside the RWD version made it a viable family car. But doing it on the GT3 is a whole different game. That’s when I came across GT3 Belts and their awesome solutions to bring back those missing seats.
I’ll address concerns over homogulation, insurance, MOT etc in the video too. Rest assured, it is also a reversible process which is important! AND it’s a white glove installation service, GT3belts travel around the world installing this for us themselves!
All the Mods
Before jumping into the rear seat transformation, I’ve made a few tweaks to make my GT3 even more special. Seat centres got some love, with a new Houndstooth/pepita pattern with green details. This really increased the classic feel and heritage look of the project.
Then the paddles were upgraded- to the epic magnetic paddles found in the GT3 RS 992. This is an easy but effective mod, and can be done on all 992 from my understanding. So, small but impactful changes.
But the main event is the rear seating options, and I'll walk you through those three different approaches to see what works best for turning this track beast into a family-friendly daily driver.
We have 3 ways, first is the “Stealth” option at around 3k, this is almost invisible but gets the job done! And decently priced at around £3k. The next is what I’ve done: a fully bespoke seat matching my Sonderwunsch unique spec. This is over £6k, but then is the highest quality for your GT3/Dakar/GT3 RS!
Then we have our special “RBR edition seats” - which give you the form and fit of the “top end version” but for a subsidised price! Only available in black. See all the options on the link below:

If you want to get this done and get a discount too, here’s a dedicated email to get in touch: gt3belts@removebeforerace.com
We’ll dive into pricing, the process of the full transformation, and finally, the result: the kid’s reaction and how well they fit in! Oh and I’ll try and squeeze in too before we go for a drive! Spoiler alert: there’s gonna be a lot of fun reactions, and of course, some lovely NA noise! :)

The fact that I’m seeing this one day after Porsche just announced the GT3 Touring with 4 seats is hilarious.
Same here 😂
Brilliant. Nothing like enjoying your sports car with kids!
You’re a good dad, dude. It’s fun to share our passion with our kids (and even better when they enjoy it).
Passions are easy to feed when you're a jewish millionaire.

This man won in life
I had a 996 when my kids were toddlers. Made all the difference having a back seat. Dropping them off to school in the Porsche brings back memories. Looks super well made and can be fully reversed for resale. Well done!
Love that this allows you to enjoy the car with your sons. What a dream!
Very impressive. However, I bought my 911 to get AWAY from the family 🤣🤣🤣
Jaysus 😂😂😂
lol
Raz that looked amazing. Everything you did looks great from paddle shifters to the matching back seats. Love your interior.👍
Very wholesome moment with the family 🙏🏾💪🏽 salute 🫡
Brought a smile to my face your joy with your family mate 👍🏿❤️
Congratulations Raz!! Nothing beats this as a Man 🙌🏿
Family over all things 👍
Love the spec on your car. Well done and incredible to get a true sports car in 2+2 format
We can see what it means to have your boys in the car with you. Cool stuff Raz.
I absolutely bloody love the Spec of your GT3 Touring fella. 😍😍😍
Fantastic!! Love the shifters and door pulls.
Nice one. Especially going with the „heritage pack“ look.
Coincidentally I saw the 992.2 GT3 touring reveal videos over the last two days and thought the green press car would have looked amazing with this interior.
What a beautiful car! Even best color!👍🙏👏🇸🇪
Looks good mate, completely changes the car - only worry id have is there’s no head support in the back for rear passengers.
The same on any 992
Very very nice GT3 touring, absolutly love it.
Unlucky! They just announced the new GT3 Touring and it has 4 seats xD
Seen it looks fab Chris Harris spoke to porsche guy said the installation and nessasary mods added 150 kg to the weight of the car
@@mw8653 the 4 seats porsche touring just add 6kg more to add the seats.
I was thinking about something similar but safety is paramount. So it ended up being a SQ5 for family and a true 2-seater (Cayman) for me. But looks nice. 👍
Same setup, my sq5 got stolen.....now thinking selling the cayman to get the 911
PRICELESS!
Game changer! Good thing my dream M3 CSL comes with back seats already haha
Love RBR absolutely one of the most affable TH-camrs
Love that you did this.
Nothing slows you down faster than children in your vehicle. This is a great video and very responsible for getting the dealership to install this kit.
That's the best porka I've ever seen, silver wheels are just the best
Nice to see a fellow petrolhead who is also a Dsquared2 fan! Great video!
Nice work! Turned out much better than I expected it too.
What you really need is that booster seat in houndstooth and brown leather 😂😂😂🤣….come on RBR….you know you want that don’t you!!! 😂
Congrats bro. Keep going from strength to strength
that houndstooth is gorgeous
This car in this spec & golden wheels is my ideal GT3 Touring
This is the best modification I've ever seen on this channel!
Hahaha... cute Kids ❣️👌🏼😅
What a dream to have a dad with a GT3 🤩👍🏼
I love oem + mods well done
Thanks man, now i can send this video to my girlfriend and convince her that it is suitable for a family
Love the matching sunglasses on you and the boys 😃
Looks fantastic.
Love this Raz!!!
Looks good. Will the wrinkles on rear seat leather go. Shame They spoil it also on front inserts the new ones don’t follow the curve the same as oem ones and have gaps on the top radius that would do my ocd in. But all that aside nice conversion
Absolutely awesome!
Never seen you happier
Allahumma Barik. So so good!
Very handy Raz, Nice to meet your family.
I'm not sure if they do the 992 generation, but RPM Technik also have a great looking rear seat conversion package which is TUV approved, so will be looked on favourably by insurers 👍🏼
Best thumbnail ever 🔥
pro you won life i wish you nothing but more and more success
The answer to a family car Porsche: the Panamera Sport Turismo!
You’re welcome👍
Kind regards from Austria 🇦🇹
Beautiful spec Raz
If it comes with a convertible is perfection
HOW have you lost so much weight in a year??? Amazing.
Very Nice! My Dream car or Mustang Shelby GT!
Well not using oem rear seat parts would probably invalidate the insurance and put me off. Have you considered the risk from ‘submarining’ under the rear belts due to non standard seating height in an accident?
Lower bench shares the same dimensions as OEM so not sure why that would be a problem.
Beautiful spec
This is what it’s all about!
This is great - I'm DEFINITELY digging the idea of a mod-flavour RBR video. Something a bit different. What's the safety angle on no rear headrests, though - looks like it could be a whiplash danger?
"as good as OEM" the next two shots show wrinkly leather 🤣
Your car so that's all that matters. But to me looks odd. Esp the stealth one; looks like someone chucked a couple of Matalan pillows in tje back 😂
Raaah Rashid sunaks minions in a speeding car 👏🏽
wow. What an awesome video
Incredible review. And the boys thoughts ! 🩶💚🩶💚
stunning
Awesome vid!
Emotional stuff Daddy Raz
The back of the carbon seats are not homologated for head impact of the rear passengers. That is why Porsche does not offer this option. Even with 3pt seatbelt your head will impact the seat back so it is not a safe modification
I could be wrong but I think Porsche used to offer carbon bucket seats with models like the gts and 4gts in the 2+2 configuration. But I agree, there must be some safety concerns, just not so sure about the homologated seats.
porsche should get backseats as no cost opt for GT3 tourings
They listened lol !
lol, the new 992.2 touring comes backseats.
This is awesome content man
If you really want a Porsche family car, there’s the longnamed Panamers Turbo s sport turismo, a panamera turbo estate
I agree with you 😊
7:53 There's a big crease in the centre tunnel leather
Ooo love this!
Oh WHOW ❣️
What a nice spec ❕👌🏼😃
Only a S/T would be better as your Touring...but it's 100k more expensive and only 1963 are build ❕😅
Love from Berlin 🇩🇪
Ramsi 😘 🙋🏻♂️
Your car and you can do what you want with it of course but I’m not really into this, we have fast hatches, saloons, coupes, estates and SUVs that all have proper rear seats.
Nice colour though 👍
I would totally do this!
Showing this to my wife asap
Wait till October 18th when Porsche makes the announcement that the 992.2 GT3 is going to have optional rear seats on the touring model
Cute family.
The little one in the thumb nail has your eyes.
Did you just coin a new word, homogulated?
That’s the US
He's in Great Britain. ❤@@drummerdoingstuff5020
“Loads of legs room”…… Maybe for Peter Dinklage
But no legroom for the front passenger hey!
@@NickLeening 😆
Great review!
Once I did sat on the back fake seat to travel from restaurant to our lair around 10 minutes . Luckily, we didn’t meet any police during the short trip.
That green stitching is an odd choice to say the least.
green, brown, black, yellow and tartan... so much going on in that interior. 🤢
True enough *BUT* it works so well with the exterior green colour. I say that is a complete winner. Well done Raz! Way to include the family. I hope your boys love the school run in that car!
Great! Hopefully the upcoming 2025/2026 version will come with optional rear seats like current GTS
Amazing
I think soon you will install the new foldable carbon seats of the 992.2 GT3 touring 😆
The craft quality is appalling. Wrinkled/wavy leather everywhere.
The door handle on the other hand is just fantastic.
Who doesn’t love a simple little tug 😊
Absolute dream car. What’s the name of the color?
Makes the touring a little bit more touring...
I like how bro always thinks we also have such cars... someone tell him we drive Golfs😢
Yaassss....
These folds in the leather would drive me crazy
Folding buckets FTW
I hope one day ...
Love the car but really can’t see the point in this mod, doesn’t look particularly high end, is likely unsafe in an accident (probably not even insurable) and doesn’t look particularly comfortable. Keep the car as it is intended and use a bigger 4 door for family trips.
Rear seat no headrest? Neck breaker. No one taller than back flat section should ride. Unless you do not like them. Will be hurt in 5 mph hit.
who actually puts their head that back?
The OEM 911 backseats doesn’t have headrests
i drive a targa 4s 992. it has the rear seats done in the same way. no headrests.
Ultimate millionaire family supercar.
