Great video as always! I always love the unique look you put into your videos, with some history. These trams are certainly interesting and being in London makes me them even more unique. On your next visit you should visit Woodside tram stop which was a former rail station on the former Elmers End to Selsdon line (I think). It's station building still exists, although you can't enter it.
Nice to see you exploring a bit around my area - it’s interesting seeing a non-local’s perspective! I don’t get to go on the tram often but when I do it is a good experience!
"South London Tramlink" you mean "Croydon Tramlink" a former railway line that closed in 1997 for conversion to (mostly) double-track tramway using 70% low-floor and 100% low-floor trams as compared to the 0% low-floor trams of the Manchester Metrolink which reused existing railway platforms hence the use of high-floor trams.
Technically no longer Croydon Tramlink, officially it ceased being ‘Croydon Tramlink’ in 2008 after the TfL buyout and officially became just ‘Tramlink’ - they’ve since started moving over to ‘London Trams’ as a branding (Presumably to create similarities with the name format of London Overground and London Underground)… yet the strange thing is, most people still call it the Croydon Tramlink despite not having been called that fir 15 years
@@AnthonyFurnival imo the name "Croydon Tramlink" is better than "London Trams" or "London Tramlink" but I think they really should just rename it to "Croydon Corporation Tramways" just like the good old days (I am not that old)
@@wclifton968gameplaystutorials I agree - I think the fact so many people still call it Croydon Tramlink shows that the new names didn’t really work but I guess it was a marketing thing more than anything else which didn’t work too well.
You only know that the Trams accelerate and decelerate quickly because the announcer tells you every stop there is no other way to guess that I can say confidently as a Croydon resident

Great video, the Croydon Tramlink is a pretty nice area to travel on and some of it also used former Railway lines as well.
