I just noticed how nice the compositing is. We see the knight in a normal shot, showing his home. Then a torso shot of manda at the door. The techpriest is introduced with a tilted and sightly down view, reflecting the preceding shot, really accenting the menace and mystery of the man. We go back to manda, with the movement of his eyes been the focus of the shot. It's mirrored by a close up of inhuman eyes. The hand offered is at an angle intruding into the cabin, tilting the view of the knight. The round about the throne, showing confusion and curiosity, the ignition also at a slight tilt, signaling the departure of the norm. It's really well done.
First impression, the mechanicus found a suitable princips candidate. I think that’s why they were respectful and deferential. Since they can pilot Titans they are conduits of the god machine.
In Titan Death, Mohana Monkata Vi, the great founding mother of Legio Solaria, came from a world that barely had the tech left to create and operate knights. Their tech was so low level, they no longer had the capability to fuel knights with nuclear power and resorted to steam engines. Steam powered knights.
Imagine being some Feudal World lad and then suddenly the heavenly metal space men, that sometimes come demanding stuff and usually leave by destroying a belligerent kingdom or two, knock on your door demanding you come with them, all the while chattering using high speed sounds with each other, strap you to a chair and literally use you to navigate a giant city-sized ship into literal hell...not to mention the most sophisticated piece of tech you own is a fucking sword. Your Techpriests are absolutely -stunning-. The flowing robes, the binary code in their viewports, the overall feeling of their motions and the almost unnatural stillness as Mandalore is examined... just perfect.
The music, the pacing and expressions of the characters somehow tell such a vast story in under a minute. This short clip without any spoken lines somehow has the same intrigue and atmosphere as the rest of the 40k universe therefore making it feel canon for me. Can’t pinpoint it exactly but i think this is a masterpiece for some reason.
I’m absolutely in love with how the Tech Priests look in this, the design was beautifully nailed, especially for the face of the detailed one when they showed up
I may be 5 months late, but the fact that a good portion of the animation is in sync with the music makes my bionic heart very happy. Praise the Ominissiah!
Something about this video just keeps bringing me back. I've watched it a dozen times, or more. Every time it comes up I watch it. It is very compelling and interesting. Well done to the artist and creator.
2D/3D blending was spot on and god damn the purity seal and cloak wind animation was beautifull you deserve all the subs. Oh and the closeup on the metal mans face reminds me of the animatrix squids which suffice to say you should be very proud of your work.
He didn't know how to make a toaster. He knew how to make an analogue rice cooker. Something desired even beyond ANY kind of toaster. Except maybe that one particular toaster that was never meant for cooking.
this is too good to be just a joke intro to a game review... and perfectly synced to the music, too - the "massage chair" bit gets me everytime (I rewatch it everyday)
I feel like gondola has a role: Amuse the animator while the main work is getting done Wouldn’t be surprised if there were “scrapped” frames of gondola looking hype and doing a jig or something
At 0:36 as the engines hit ignition and the whole ship rambles in synchron with the music...mate, sent shivers down my spine! excellent work! And that little Gondola is absolutely amazing!
There's just somethingagical about the first scene of the techpriests. The music the snow the wind....I need soundtrack long extended video with only that part.
This led me to Mandalore's channel, which in turn led me to getting the game so thank you for that. Overall excellent presentation that aligned very well with the music (CotO was a great pick). It's really neat how you've tied it to where things were left off with the Unreal video as well; you didn't need to do that but honestly it makes it that much more interesting.
This was awesome, I think I have tears building up in my eyes it's so good, WE NEED MOOOOOORRRREEEE!!!!!! Also, putting in Children of the Omnissiah made this even better.
The setting of the knight in a forested world is giving me very strong Caliban vibes even though the planet has been destroyed. Caliban consisted of knights fighting warp beasts in the forests and their technology levels only allowed the production of bolt pistols.

As I see it, the 40k novels out of the Black Library have all this pomp and grandeur, and in the Horus Heresy Era we see the final and greatest vestiges of all that was pure and good in mankind. And while in the 41st Millennium they still think of themselves in those tones, the reality is that everyone is suffering from a mental illness of some kind or another, and others are just straight up autistic. Also, 🥧-Braine.
I love this animation so much, the cleanliness of it, the sync with the music (the door knock was pretty nice), the color palette, the flowing robes... You are damn good at this, keep being so awesome

BlackKorv lol it’s the music
0:33 gives me more feels then the last 3 star wars movie, someone give this person a billion dollar franchise
@@Hey_Loser hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahah so true
I’m absolutely in love with how the Tech Priests look in this, the design was beautifully nailed, especially for the face of the detailed one when they showed up
Opens the door and the mechanicus guys says,
“MAKE PEE NIS INTO ROBOT!”
I see u r a men of culture as well
Thales Macedo brought to you by: If the Emperor had a text to speech device.
MEAT DETECTED
That would be the Dark Mechanicum, which you do not want knocking on your door in the night
That's Dark Mechanicus
I may be 5 months late, but the fact that a good portion of the animation is in sync with the music makes my bionic heart very happy. Praise the Ominissiah!
Everyone is wearing a mask, nobody says a word, yet you convey so much. That is true talent
In an alternative setting,
"We have come to fix your toaster."
Can confirm, had to borrow Mandy to conduct toaster extraction expeditions.
I was looking for one of these comments
He didn't know how to make a toaster. He knew how to make an analogue rice cooker. Something desired even beyond ANY kind of toaster. Except maybe that one particular toaster that was never meant for cooking.
You showoff with the full 3D rotation you lol
MY KING
TEAM NEIGHBORHOOD
I’m not articulate enough to express how thematically fitting and perfect that there’s heavier use of 3D elements on ship
0:10 My boy Gandalf hasn't aged well
He’s the skull behind the tech priest so no he hasn’t
What are u talking about he aged amazingly
this is too good to be just a joke intro to a game review... and perfectly synced to the music, too - the "massage chair" bit gets me everytime (I rewatch it everyday)
I feel like gondola has a role:
Amuse the animator while the main work is getting done
Wouldn’t be surprised if there were “scrapped” frames of gondola looking hype and doing a jig or something
Gondola is there probably because he is technically in Finland
That mechanicus looked CLEAN
At 0:36 as the engines hit ignition and the whole ship rambles in synchron with the music...mate, sent shivers down my spine! excellent work! And that little Gondola is absolutely amazing!
It’s… It’s Beautiful… and it syncs so well with the music too, I love it. 🥲
This animation is actually astonishing, you've got some serious skill.

A rare recording of The Mechanicus, adopting a man, welded into his own armor, possessing vast understanding of the long lost knowledge of the droods.
The close up on the priest at 0:18 is amazing, the animation overall is great. Well done.
It feels like the UnReal World animation flows right into this one, like they're all part of a bigger story
A surprise to be sure. But a welcome one
FOR THE EMPERAH!!!
You are very skilled. Thank you (and your brother) for making these for him
There's just somethingagical about the first scene of the techpriests. The music the snow the wind....I need soundtrack long extended video with only that part.
Children of the Omnissiah. Go.
Would watch every saturday morning.
Omg the perspective and fluency!! Great work! I was looking forward to watching next video :3
This is by far the most beautiful animated 40k thing I have ever seen
0:04 "Hey hey people, Sseth here"
This led me to Mandalore's channel, which in turn led me to getting the game so thank you for that.
Overall excellent presentation that aligned very well with the music (CotO was a great pick). It's really neat how you've tied it to where things were left off with the Unreal video as well; you didn't need to do that but honestly it makes it that much more interesting.
This is amazing. Just that music with these mysterious omniscient beings standing there in the dark with flowing capes.. awesome
This version of the 40k theme is even more haunting
I would binge 6 seasons of this in a day. Love the artstyle, the animation, the everything!
This is somethong straight out of a metal album cover, definitley fits the entire vibe of 40k.
well this video is now permanent in my mind. Every time when i hear the Mechanicus theme I think of this
This was awesome, I think I have tears building up in my eyes it's so good, WE NEED MOOOOOORRRREEEE!!!!!! Also, putting in Children of the Omnissiah made this even better.
The timing with this amazing music is absolutely perfect. What a great video.
I like to think that the mechanicus didn't even tell this man what the warp is and just sent him into there.
Local Feudal world Resident being abducted by the Mechanicus circa 40,000 A.D colorized
More.. no words, just music a knight becoming a space marine, and scenery
Hey man, i came here from mandaloregaming just to tell you the amazing job you have done! Great work, this animation is incredible!!
This was fantastic work.
The setting of the knight in a forested world is giving me very strong Caliban vibes even though the planet has been destroyed. Caliban consisted of knights fighting warp beasts in the forests and their technology levels only allowed the production of bolt pistols.
YEAH that was the best cast scenario for a Psyker tbh. Its that or getting a very, very personal familiarity with the Golden Throne.
The Omnissiah approves of this ancient relic from the dark ages of technology. It surely is one cute Gondola
Techpriest: “It’s the official Purge The Heretics day, join us”
Knight: “wasn’t it that yesterday?”
Techpriest: “Yes”
Love the art.
That little Gondola in the middle of all this is just the best.
As an animator, Im always looking for hidden underrated stuff...
I f*****g love your style !!!
What I got from this video:
*Visual representation of warhammer 40k fans going to MandaloreGamings house to force him to make more warhammer 40k related videos*
The first video in my recommended under this video was MandaloreGaming “Warhammer 40k mechanicus review”
I think this is a sign from god
I am immediately leaving for the USA
I love everything about this.
Especially the cut to Mandalore on the Mechanicus ship.
Pretty cool that the tech priests figured out a way to travel back in time to iron age Finland.
What gets me Everytime is how the animation follows the music, I love it.
I love how this is simultaneously a parody and stylistically accurate representation.
The animation is absolutely gorgeous, light years ahead of anything currently on TV
A dream in every man's heart...
I just love how he has a look of constantly questioning of what is happening
I can't take them seriously because of the Emperor Text-To-Speech device series.
Actually, the whole Warhammer 40K series as of that.
Also, amazing animation and hello there :D

As I see it, the 40k novels out of the Black Library have all this pomp and grandeur, and in the Horus Heresy Era we see the final and greatest vestiges of all that was pure and good in mankind. And while in the 41st Millennium they still think of themselves in those tones, the reality is that everyone is suffering from a mental illness of some kind or another, and others are just straight up autistic.
Also, 🥧-Braine.
Love that color palette , this
aesthetic and nice 3D throne

"HERETEK! BURN HIM!"
"What a mess. Quick kid, come with me."
This animation started my curiosity for warhammer 40k and now I am hooked, thank you .
This was weirdly unnerving and relaxing at the same time
ever since I've seen this animation, I can't unsee Mandalore not having two cartoonish eyes behind his mask lol.
That is some awesome animation. And loved the incorporation of the game music.
"From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh,
*I threw up on my artificial heart.*
*I'M die* *ing SOMEBODY HELP IT BURNS*
Это потрясающе, эта сводка с музыкой и крутая, плавная анимация! Ооо, это просто великолепно!
That's so gooooooooood. It's have been ages since last time I've seen something so good !
Fabricator General: "and that's how I got such a high position in the mechanicus"
I love this animation so much, the cleanliness of it, the sync with the music (the door knock was pretty nice), the color palette, the flowing robes... You are damn good at this, keep being so awesome
"From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh,
it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine.
Your kind cling to your flesh, as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass that you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal…
...even in death I serve the Omnissiah."
