L&P In the township of Paeroa, the origin place of the drink, there is a 7-metre (23 ft) tall Lemon & Paeroa bottle statue. It is one of the most photographed locations in our country, and is also considered our New Zealand icon. Originally, Lemon & Paeroa used naturally carbonated water from a spring in the town of Paeroa. The spring is located near the Ohinemuri and Waihou rivers. The land at the spring was originally used to service gold mines, and was a cow paddock when the spring was discovered. Mixed with lemon juice
Literally shouted for joy when I saw you'd gone to Muzza's pies. I haven't been in years because I dont live in Auckland anymore, but used to go all the time as a kid. Best pies ever.
Paeroa was where the original spring water came from. Before chefs made lamb shanks fashionable, they were given away for a dollar each or less, now they just think of a number and double it.
Hello Mark, welcome to NZ Going to say the same as so many others… that we’ve been enjoying following you and your family and really enjoying your content for years and now so fun to see you here! Have travelled to and sought out specific places around the world as a result of watching you in great episodes there - and now what a blast to see you here in places I already know and love!
I would say a fish burger is more of a must have in New Zealand then a beef burger . Everytime I go back home to NZ a fish burger is one of the things I look forward to .
My must eat food in New Zealand is abalones. I watched a TV show showing that they can go to beaches and pick up lot of big abalones in just 1 or 2 feet deep water.
When i saw your ad I was reminded of your Big On Spice channel where you haven't uploaded in a while. I really liked when you went around touring organic farms and restaurants and showed us a lot of new fruits and vegetables and forests. I'd like to watch some more of that content. Also, I'd like to watch some more Perú videos (the rain forest! - check out 'reportage al peru' for info on the whole country) and Bolivia and Greece (Crete!) New Zealand is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Welcome to New Zealand, try the whitebait fritters.. pop into Auckland Fish Market down on the viaduct or hungi shop takeaway.. Hong Kong bakery in Mangere Bridge pork bun etc..
Welcome to NZ!! I have been watching you for many years and was wondering when you would visit this beautiful country. We have such a diverse mix of cultures and their amazing food and we are very lucky to experience this. I don't even know what 'Kiwi' food is anymore. We are a big melting pot, but lamb is definitely a main meat. I am a white Kiwi who married an Indian and my MIL taught me to cook. I can cook everything Indian from roti to biryani but struggle with classic English food - its so boring!!! Enjoy your time here! 🥰
This video i’ve been waiting for😅, i saw you at auckland airport last month and was so surprised but didnt get to say hi to you as i was so shy! But thank you for making the food series in auckland!
I'm sure they're aware of it because their reputation depends on it. Food n health inspectors are quite strict here in NZ and they would be closed down immediately if there was any risk to the public.
Hi Mark, it would be very nice to see a video of yours where you summarize all the countries you visited something and few other details something like below 1. Total no of country you visited till now 2. Top 5 foods of all time 3. Most and least friendly country to make these food videos 4. Whats your life style be like since u started this food tour 5. What made you choose this food tour to start with So on I think your long term followers would definitely like to watch that video
The fish looked good quality. Really thick comapred to normal. I would be disappointed in the amount of chips tbh. Also I've never seen f'n'c served in a pizza box. It's usually wrapped in layers of paper. If it is just for you, you can rip a hole in the top and reach in to pull out the food while you walk on the beach or whatever. Otherwise if it's for a group it is put on the floor or middle of a table and unwrapped Everyone gathers around and eats from the paper. Maybe the tomato sause is squeezed onto the paper or into a bowl. Personally, my family dished it out onto each persons plate and ate it with baked beans and a side salad using knife and fork.
Hi Mark, long time fan!!! Please try Takara in Browns bay(Japanese) her father had Ramen shop around Mt Fugi (interesting Story) or Song do (Korean) in Browns Bay. Amzing food and atmosphere. I live in the area and these are the best!!!!!
Hey Mark, firstly...about bloody time!...NZ ...welcome home!....watch for these .... Clover Honey, Hangi's , Purple Kumara (roasted), West Coast touring in the South Island - Punakaiki in particular, Kiwi friendliness, an old fashioned dairy that serves TipTop ice cream - boysenberry or hokey pokey dipped in chocolate, cheap fish and chips, serious NZ pie shops and ....alone time picking up driftwood on a NZ beach...:)...Lastly......enjoy
Here in NZ, i'd be distrustful of anyone that would not consider pies, a decent daily habit.... unless it was fruit pies.... I'd be distrustful of anyone making a habit of fruit pies over meat pies.

Before chefs made lamb shanks fashionable, they were given away for a dollar each or less, now they just think of a number and double it.
yeah they used to be dog tucker
Hello Mark, welcome to NZ
Going to say the same as so many others… that we’ve been enjoying following you and your family and really enjoying your content for years and now so fun to see you here!
Have travelled to and sought out specific places around the world as a result of watching you in great episodes there - and now what a blast to see you here in places I already know and love!
Wow you went to new zealand. Potato top pies are the true game changers. Im so used to seeing you to go thailand
He lives in Thailand but he's traveled all over the world.
Kia ora Mark I've been a subscriber of yours for many years. I'm so greatful you finally made it to my country Aotearoa New Zealand ❤.
I would say a fish burger is more of a must have in New Zealand then a beef burger . Everytime I go back home to NZ a fish burger is one of the things I look forward to .
Thats a personal preference though. Majority would think otherwise.
you can get any sort of burgers anywhere to be honest.
?? hell no
Thank you, will have to try next time!
Egg burger with beetroot is a kiwi thing. Pretty sure Mac Donald’s created something similar, can’t remember what it was called🙃
Thanks for coming to New Zealand ❤ Mark. If you are in Queenstown we would live to show you around. Get in touch and enjoy our beautiful country
My must eat food in New Zealand is abalones. I watched a TV show showing that they can go to beaches and pick up lot of big abalones in just 1 or 2 feet deep water.
Not common now, as been overfished
Stuart island or Chatham islands has biggest and best stocks left
There is a limit to how many you are allowed to collect. Same with lots of shellfish.
Kina...yum
I'm an Aucklander and it took a foreign TH-camr to teach me about Muzza's Pies. lol. I need to go there...
- check out 'reportage al peru' for info on the whole country) and Bolivia and Greece (Crete!)
New Zealand is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
So excited to see you visiting Auckland. Your passion for food is almost palpable through the screen and to see It projected onto my local foods that i've grown up eating puts a smile on my face. Chur Mark you're the man
Great to see you finally came to our country New Zealand Mark..You need to try the actual No#1 New Zealand ( Aoteatoa) food, made by the Indigenous People of Aotearoa (NZ) ..Rotorua is a place to go or have a Maori Tour guide, to show you around beautiful NZ..

Hi Mark
Its Richa and Surya. We were there when you were shooting at the White Lady and you know what we are there in the video. It’s hilarious. Big fan of yours. 38:26
🇮🇶
We need you back in Kenya mark ,May God protect you
I visited there as an exchange student and New Zealand has some of the nicest people. Great video Mark!
so much of my childhood in one video. awesome
Really happy to see Mark enjoy his trip in Auckland, hopefully you come down to Wellington!!!
Welcome to New Zealand, try the whitebait fritters.. pop into Auckland Fish Market down on the viaduct or hungi shop takeaway.. Hong Kong bakery in Mangere Bridge pork bun etc..
Mark.. you nailed it from start to finsh, that was the real deal when it comes to food tour..
I wish you would’ve come to The Clevedon farmer’s market Mark. 😢😢 they have the best Thai 🇹🇭 street food stall you would ever try❤
MARK CAME TO NZ!? letsssgoooooo I hope you enjoyed yourself 🙏🤍 absolutely love your content and hope you get to experience a Hangi!!!
Looks so delicious ❤
This video i’ve been waiting for😅, i saw you at auckland airport last month and was so surprised but didnt get to say hi to you as i was so shy! But thank you for making the food series in auckland!
Oh no, that oil looked overused, hope you clean it on the regular Tipenes!
There's so many good FNC shops here, a definite staple.
I'm sure they're aware of it because their reputation depends on it. Food n health inspectors are quite strict here in NZ and they would be closed down immediately if there was any risk to the public.
Welcome to our amazing NZ Mark ...... Been watching for a long time now....
This is the first time I saw Mark enjoys pies and crisps with happiest facial expressions. What a feast for him in New Zealand..?
Hi Mark, it would be very nice to see a video of yours where you summarize all the countries you visited something and few other details something like below
1. Total no of country you visited till now
2. Top 5 foods of all time
3. Most and least friendly country to make these food videos
4. Whats your life style be like since u started this food tour
5. What made you choose this food tour to start with
So on
I think your long term followers would definitely like to watch that video
Glad you covered the White Lady!
I gotta go to that place along with the Icecream place they looked so good actually all the places do…yum 😋
Cool to see you come all the way to NZ mark! Hopefully you can try some hāngi while your here 🤙
hands down best fish and chips i have ever seen
The fish looked good quality. Really thick comapred to normal. I would be disappointed in the amount of chips tbh. Also I've never seen f'n'c served in a pizza box. It's usually wrapped in layers of paper. If it is just for you, you can rip a hole in the top and reach in to pull out the food while you walk on the beach or whatever. Otherwise if it's for a group it is put on the floor or middle of a table and unwrapped Everyone gathers around and eats from the paper. Maybe the tomato sause is squeezed onto the paper or into a bowl. Personally, my family dished it out onto each persons plate and ate it with baked beans and a side salad using knife and fork.
yayyyyyyyy welcome to NZ Mark :D were so happy to have you here !!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
If you lived in Aotearoa you'd be over a 100kgs straight up
Can confirm
Hi Mark, long time fan!!! Please try Takara in Browns bay(Japanese) her father had Ramen shop around Mt Fugi (interesting Story) or Song do (Korean) in Browns Bay. Amzing food and atmosphere. I live in the area and these are the best!!!!!
Wow how cool your in my home country. We need to load your pies with chillies.
So glad you are touring in NZ
We have so much good food!
Can't wait to see more videos
I'm sure you will love it
Hey Mark, firstly...about bloody time!...NZ ...welcome home!....watch for these ....
You are the man!!! Thank you for your videos and taking us with you
Eaten pies all over the world. No one beats NZ. Ate one in Australia, i dont want to talk about it.
No one cares
They tried to open the Australian Pie Face franchise in New Zealand. I tried it🙃naturally it closed.
@@tjshan why u gota be so rude.
@@neshking6759 grow up
Aussie pies don't have to have the high% of meat that NZ pies have to have .
Thank you Mark for coming to New Zealand. Enjoy the stay and the food bro.
Here in NZ, i'd be distrustful of anyone that would not consider pies, a decent daily habit.... unless it was fruit pies.... I'd be distrustful of anyone making a habit of fruit pies over meat pies.
The bro mark is finally Here chur solid man was waiting for day you come to our country brother
