Hey, so I had an internet issue on my computer and contacted Microsoft, it put me through to a person, gave my phone number like it asked from the automated message then the person asked for quick assist after doing their best to help and I let them. They didn't do anything too weird (I don't think) then when it got disconnected from the wifi, they called my personal phone and later got reconnected then sent an email afterwards for me to let them know if anything else happens. Was it legit? Please tell me it was. I went through the Microsoft site and everything but I'm just severely worried
You have to go through so much now to get a chat with a real person other then an Xbox gamer. Smh

Yes. You need to make a new account. Follow the steps, to talk to any agent. They will, take you to the steps to recover your account. Remember you’re going to need your IP address and console code, all can be found on your Xbox or whatever system your on. Remember your email and they will ask you questions only you would know. This is for anything. Even if its not xbox help, getting your account back, related, the agent will, redirect you into someone who can help you if they can't. They wont just tell you "its not my job bye". Microsoft is trying to be more and more, AI reliant, and makes it hard to get actual help. Thanks for you comment!
