    I don't often comment on videos, but your channel, in my opinion, is one of the best in regards to clear concise explanations of "how to's" for After Effects and Premiere. This video sealed the deal for me, because of how you showed so much in such a little time. Thank you for taking the time and putting in the effort to do these videos.

    Quick question - What's the easiest way to go about doing effects like these (Or the paint tool scribble effects) with clips that have a color correction adjustment layer on them? The color correction tends to wash out the flashing colors/scribble colors when exporting back to Premiere.

    Hi. Great videos. Informative and straight to the point.
    I have a question: I have a static scene with a person going through it. Is there a way in AE to make AE to mask that person (i.e. everything that moves) automatically? Basically like blending modes works with colors. is there a blending mode for moving pixels? :)

    • @JustinOdisho
      @JustinOdisho  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Theres an option in Premiere called difference matte that kind of works like that but it's not always perfect

    hey Justin..can you do that intro effect used in western movies..like the one from the good the bad and the ugly... the "freeze frame" (I'm not sure if that's what you call it)effect used to introduce the three main characters

    I'm just getting into after effects and I want to do sort of the opposite effect. I guess it would be a mask, but I still don't seem to understand masks lol. I just want to flash a solid color around an object that I have moving. Can I use the roto brush for that too?

    • @JustinOdisho
      @JustinOdisho  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can invert the paths

    • @riffybeats

      Justin Odisho thanks man. I just dropped in a solid layer underneath and I think I got what im looking for. I’m a music producer first, i wish I understood the workflow of after effects as much as I did audio. You’re channel has def been the most helpful out of all of them though!

    When I use the rotoscope brush it always selects the full video.
    The brush isn't too big and the video is very clear. The frame rate is the same but it still doesn't work. Can you maybe help me out?

    I'm using AE 2018 and I'm following your instructions, however, when I input the the strobe light effect, my subject that I'm recording doesn't change color or immediately flash to white like yours did and I made sure I was operating on the composition layer and made sure my subject was rotobrushed the right way. Could you provide some insight/help?

  • @BorisChevreau
    @BorisChevreau 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice one Justin ! Is this how you would do the freeze frame effect you did on Premiere on the other tutorial but when the camera/view angle is moving ? I can't wrap my head around doing this when there's a little bit of movement...
