I have a complex short video with a few moving parts around the subject I want to keep and replace the back ground and I TH-camd Premier Pro and After Affects for days and hours and no success. Will you be willing to create a temporary Gmail so I can send the clip by G-Drive then you can show how you will tackle this task and make it work?
I have a doubt When i rotoscope then after some frames ( say 22 frames ) the tracking gets removed. It doesn't keep tracking for further frames ( say if my clip has 55 frames ) I use ae 2019 Can u help?
You may just be trying to rotoscope a complex shot. If your shot is stable and has a clearly defined subject the rotobrush will work perfectly but if your shot has movement or blur, you may have to rotoscope frame by frame to ensure good results.
You may need to render your rotoscope layer out as a transparent MOV before autotracing. If autotrace is still struggling, it may take some manual tweaking (deleting points, smoothing out the edges). Autotrace isn't perfect so you may have to tweak some things. Hit me on IG if you need more in depth help!

hey i usually don't comment on videos but i couldn't help but let you know how much this video really helped me and save me so much money in out sourcing work and also help me gain a new steam of income editing because there are so many videographers that dont know how to do these type off effects and transitions. I've watched so many tutorial videos and you make this plain and simlple and you also explain why you are doing what u do so that helps me not only NOT copy cat you but be creative in my own way thanks alot foreva follower/fan /supporter
when trying to export via AME i get the following warning: "offline media detected and will be encoded using the offline media graphic" the result is a red screen instead of the comp i rotoscoped... any ideas/suggestions?
Yes, you should make sure the AE file isn't going offline on your computer and uploading to icloud. I suggest dragging the AE file to a harddrive, relinking it in your project and trying again. Another solution would be to just export the comps from AE and then drag those .MOVs into premiere, so there is no dynamic link rendering required.
Autotrace can be hit or miss sometimes, I recommend rendering your rotoscope out with a transparent background (lossless with alpha) and then re-importing it into AE and attempting to autotrace that instead.
