- Been wanting to get this one for a long time. Unboxing this used set from 1985! Has the all important transforming slot cars. The transformer ironically didn’t work and used one of mine that I already had. Tested it out after slightly cleaning track. Cars will need a tube up as they have hair and dirt on them

The car alt modes are 1980-81 Ford G3 Mustang Cobra hatchback sports cars, apparently with the 2.3L Turbo motors.
The racing set was dated 1985, so that would make them Wave 2 era Autobot reinforcements.
Great to see that they're
"Still glowwwy...after all-ll...these years!" 🎶
The white car is named Natron and the red car is named Freezon
Those things are crazy looking...
I have to admit, I save the Tyco bricks that I find in bulk just because of the story. I played with Tyco rc cars in the 90's
I remember seeing the US1 trucks at Kaybee, ‘at the mall’ and I liked them but I was still a kid, if I can’t play with them on the carpet like my Matchbox vehicles then they were useless to me. I’m a very finicky person! My best friend in school probably had these, but like all of his other toys they were kept down in a moldy basement that would always flood. I preferred to mix my transformers with my GoBots. I even had the magazine for GoBots. At some point Mr. Wiggs department store had a pretty nice model kit selection and I got a model kit version of a GoBot-Harrier Jump Jet-with a friction motor, not that it was great or anything like that, it was just kind of a novelty. At some point, I broke it when I was playing with it. My bad.
Definitely combine this with your tyco transformers train set
Hey there! Looks like you are missing the glow in the dark flags, and some pieces of the sticker kit. I obsessed over this kit for years as a kid and also had a few others, plus I got into HO scale trains. This brings back so many memories. The whole car top is interchange with the bottom so you can swap in a good working base motor
They also, obviously, never automatically opened.
Salut~Yeah! how best unboxing-talk to you soon. 🤘
No conocía ese modelo de pista tyco.
Te recomiendo primero limpiar y dar mantenimiento a las pistas y carros. Saludos
I remember the smells that slot cars have. I recently picked up a set from hobby lobby and they just don’t have the smell
I was thinking the the would open and transform while in motion
I was hoping
I would be a tad disappointed by this. You would expect them to have some mechanism to flip open automatically.
The automatic feature was the electric motor. They weren't about to add an auto-tranform feature too.
@@texasbeast239 that would be lit tho 🔥
