Its a good popcorn movie with some performances that punched well above the films weight. When you do end up seeing it, I have a feeling you won't regret it. Viola has been not so memorable in other action franchises, this was her best role.
Great review Justin, without giving any spoilers. I love Viola Davis and also Peter Dinklage( you didn't mention his role). I can't wait to see it. I am on the library waitlist for the book, I prefer to read the books first, because you tend to get more of the story (thoughts and such) from them. But, then again, watching first before knowing how it may end, is more exciting. Sometimes the ending changes as well in movie adaptions.
