- In this episode of Mountain Bike Chronicles, we're in Quebec for the fourth stop of the UCI Downhill World Cup. Mont-Sainte-Anne is one of the toughest races on the tour, and for Australian Sam Hill, the track brings back fond memories of his championship victory back in 2010. Lastly, we take a look at the labor-intensive process of mountain bike manufacturing.

God, I love red bull.
"a rider is sponsored by monster?... doesn't matter! still highlighted!"
respect from czech republic
I LOVE MOUNTAIN BIKING!
I really like this show !
One of The best rideres ever
that is Polygon factory, used to be unpopular, but design has improved a lot now, kinda surprised Mick Hannah will be racing for them this year
Nice to see some backgrounds like production.
the narration in this is the pits..made me want to turn it off, but couldnt. Onya Sam! your a legend mate!
great chapter!! :)
why is does narrator sound constipated
Loved the inclusion of the making process.
The narrator guy sounds like the guy from those 'worlds wildest police chase videos!' haha
Mission accomplished !
a smile wouldn't hurt!
Danny hart is always my fav!
monster t shirt in redbull video lol
***** you notice the t-shirt but not the monster hat that the guy is wearing throughout the entire video?
check out hebrew alphabet and how it equates to 666. same as google, cern, Disney. bloody numbers seem to control everything.
Thanks for share
Wow! He represent a lot what mountain bike is.....
trop cool la video
at the beginning of the video: "We shooting a vid for redbull? hmm better wear my MONSTER cap and MONSTER t shirt! "
LOVE IT
amazing
Hahahahahaha local babe Pichette at 2:32, represent!!
It's cool that Red Bull doesn't mind highlighting athletes from competing sponsors in the name of covering the sport.
I like the commentator!
Polygon factory,is in Indonesia :)
The northrock xc6 it's a good bike for start in the Mtb?
very good
i freakin love redbull as a company, such legends
Viking bikes are the best option?
This narration sounds like a parody. Never heard anything that poorly written. Unless it's a joke, then it's really good.
Everyone in that factory is from Indonesia, even said it on the packaging.
Just like Specialized, "Designed in American Made in Taiwan"
Then they sell them for like 4k...
Tungsten and Wolfram are the same chemical element. In some countries wolfram is the preffered name. Maybe that's why he sais WIG
muito bom
WIG-welding (Wolfram-Inert-Gas welding)
i got new carrera vendetta is a good bike?
and it is Indonesian manufacture!
WIG welding - Wolfram-Inert-Gas :)
YEA new zealand !!!!!!!!! :D
Why do they show that same clip of the rear wheel sliding like 10 times
yes
which part of western australia is he from? perth?
Wow wow
Monster needs the advertising really hard.
muito bom kkkk!!!!
He's the god of MTB-DH
good vid
so these bikes are not made in the usa?
unless you have been living under a rock its pretty hard to not know
3:42 LoL "the other riders have now been warned" the sign says hes on 3rd place...
wie viel Geld kostet eigentlich so ein Fahrrad ?
gutes vid
why everyone has Specialized Demo 8 ? =D
Where do you get those bikes from
polygon...? wuih top markotop....
muantaaap brow
Good guy Red Bull, doesn't blur Monsters sign.
Como se llama Sam Hill oe Samuel Hill diganme
TIG welding is what he uses
i miss the atherton project
lol this guy is sponsored by Monster too?
Isn't it more commonly referred to as TIG welding...
this narrator is ridiculous!
+Sierra Bravo ridiculous as in annoying?
+Easton Camp I'd say annoying. Ultra fucking annoying.
If that Rider is sponsored by a company that isn't Red Bull then its better for them to wear their sponsor, they get more recognition the rider gets more money/free stuff.
Gwinning!!!
the commentator reminds me of Casey Kasem :D
nice
good point :/
just cause your sponsored by monster doesnt mean you cant do interviews with compettiors
awkward how i saw the monster logo like 18 times haha
he's sponsored by monster and specialized tho, redbull crew was just interviewing the guy :/
00:42 polygon cycle!!

He's wearing a monster hat and this is a red bull video
Monster Hat?
Funny how red bull posted a video about a guy and he is wearing monster energy clothes all the time
gostei
polygon factory??
The dude talking is from Austria and WIG is TIG in German (Wolfram-Inertgasschweißen)....
Am I wrong or that company is the one that makes those shitty ZOOM components? look at the welder's helmet.
what accent has he got?
Hmm, seems I've been corrected... Wolfram is Tugnsten, well paint me ignorant. Thanks for teaching me something. ha ha "WIG welding" sounds like a little kid.
I really want to drive downhill once but I haven't propertly bike for this because they are preety much expensive :(
I bought mine used of pinkbike for 1500$ and its a great bike I bought a kona stab 2010
Once every year i go downhilling in willingen/winterberg germany, at both locations you can rent gear. For 100 euro's you'll rent a bike, helmet, harness and all other protection and have a lift pass.
kajalaisal jkfkIKF i thought thi economycal crysis is only about Russia))
Just rent one from the downhill park. About $100 a day, but totally worth it!
Nice Jimmy, did you went to Winterberg?
eu so queria umas peças usadas pra recomeçar a tentativa de um dia ser um dos melhores e mais aqui na Brasil e tudo muito caro um baike boa e 30 mill não tenho tanta grana assim.
yesssssss I like under 300 btw not bad
he races for specialised and is sponsored by monster. so that doesn't make any difference.
ah nice german bikes from my homeland ahu
hi
I want more atherton project
He dominated 2011 and 2012. You must not watch alot of dh biking.
WIG ROLF! T.ungsten I.nert G.as TIG, formerly known by the trademark name "Heliarc"
The hell? An American won a World cup event?!
I race ktmsx85
Try mountain unicycling. Yeah... it's a sport.
Um... what the hell is "WIG" welding guys? ha ha I got a kick out of this, I've been an aluminum welder for years... its TIG welding stands for Tungsten Inert Gas. Great video otherwise

He rides for team monster energy specialzed so he is sponsored by Monster energy
