Sal Masekela is back with the full Red Bull Rampage 2019 recap. Brandon Semenuk took the victory on his first of two runs, with a ride packed full of tricks and technical riding. He now joins Kurt Sorge as a three-time winner of mountain biking's most iconic event. Brett Rheeder dropped into second place following his second run down the mountain, with Tom Van Steenbergen rounding out the podium places.

I really wish rampage was more big
Mountain riding. Now it is more of big machine groomed jumps and drops rather than steep natural technical terrain. The only rider that impressed me the most was brenden Fairclough only because of how natural and raw his line was. All the other riders have more bike park and wide open jump lines. I wish the judges could score the more scary lines higher rather than the tricks and wide open jumps. If rampage is all about big tricks and jumps, crankworx slopestyle is way more exciting.
A winner never stops looking up to someone who he sees is greater than himself.

I'm 29 and recently got into mountain biking. I'm nowhere near this level, but I still find it exhilarating just getting outside and pushing myself towards faster and more intense terrain. You might not make it pro, but you can still have tons of fun and get good exercise doing it!
Andrea is by far the coolest rider here if he finished those runs he woulda won in my books. sucks that he couldn't finish

Wow wow,wow. This is the biggest my most favorite spot on the glob and the hot spot of any adrenaline sport activity when I was young. Man, never had ever seen anything like this doing my favorite biking on that 75° rough Utah slop.. This is the most audacious and challenging sport than any I have seen on in my life.
Awesome and thanks for those high adrenalin young chasers. MERRY Xmas and the best I have seen on TV Red Bull sport.
