The On Cloudaway has been designed for active people who love to travel light - one of the reasons they are On's best travel shoes is simply how incredibly versatile they are. On has been expanding their range of lifestyle shoes a fair amount over the last few years and although the Cloud is a truly amazing lifestyle shoe (which I use daily myself), there's still a market for those who enjoy traveling a lot.
To cater those who travel fast and light, and want a shoe that can do as many things as possible is a great idea, and I believe the On Cloudaway hits this segment head on.

Not the most structured review in my opinion, it would be more helpful to get a more objective assessment of the pro's and con's for the design choices. All I gathered is that this shoes is good for travelling and the beach. I assume the shoes are best suited for short duration of walking as I don't associate travelling with walking long distances (standing perhaps) , nor do I at the beach. In fact I don't really consider the beach as a focus of utility for trainers in general.
I think there could be more focus on the sole comfort, build quality and also communicating the limitations of the shoes. I didn't get that which was a shame.

Extremely well! I used water and a damp micro fibre cloth to clean mine up, would a video demo of how I clean my On’s be useful?

@FiancaFolaya you could if you hike on easy, non technical trails, otherwise you’d need a more supportive shoe with better outsole traction
