It is always uplifting to watch your content. You bring your artistic flair to your projects and you have a wonderful grasp on what is valuable in life. Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome! Thanks for the kind words!
Oh man...seeing your house actually furnished and being lived in is such a HUGE change from what I remember of my visit. Looks so much better and cozier!
Night and day yo! Funny to say that it’s actually livable now… because I lived in it in such dire conditions for so long. I can’t go back to those days lol
Yes a lovely easy enjoyable relaxing video, thank you. The new table looks strong enough even for the little cute house monster to jump on 😇
She theoretically could lol 😂 I sit on it from time to time too… very solid.
Thanks for posting such a wonderful video.
It filled me with joy to see how your family's life has found it's rhythm in such a picturesque town.
You are a truly virtuous man full of wisdom.
Your daughter is a real cutie and reminds me of mine a dozen or so years ago. No need to remind you to cherish this time as you've already figured it out in spades.
Thanks for the kind words! I hope we can spend time slowly and enjoy but we all know time flies.
Je prends mon petit déjeuner en france en regardant votre vlog si appaisant quel lieu magnifique 😊
Je suis ravie que vous ayez apprécié pendant le petit-déjeuner. ✌️
Those time lapse water scenes in between scenes, nice bit of editing. Cool cement table design!
Thanks! 🙏
Wow, you have a keen eye and a great ability for design. I noticed that there is a Power Point outlet really close to your kitchen sink faucet. I think there is a safety standard for the distance of a power outlet to where there is water. You might like to check it out.
I’ll check on that! The electrician ran that outlet and didn’t say anything.
just who i needed to see on my day off.
Glad to hear you have a weekend day off! Lol those can be rare in Japan!
@@DIYJapan every weekend I'm home tbh
Showing some lovely wildlife clips, much appreciated. The "amphibian" clip is in fact a Gecko, a "lizard" but the general punch-line after that is good fun build-up going from mammals, birds, insects and amphibians to humans. ;-)) Wonderful wildlife, surrounded all-round.
You’re totally right lol 😆 he’s definitely a gecko and totally not a salamander otherwise my house would be on a river lol
your family is so cute! so inspiring and I hope I can have a workshop studio too! Glad the Kappa didn't get you, now for future Danny bringing back omens from the future, who can say?
in my small kitchen, Nitori came in clutch for the over sink dish rack. Also, thx for the stink bug heads up as they came cruising into my place so I did the catch and release outside trick
The stink bugs seem to have hit all of Japan hard! No one was spared I heard. I have to finish that Kappa story now that you mention it…
Love it! Bless you, and your family!
Same to you!
I love your video and your relaxed lifestyle. Also, thanks for using the Dovoh laser level to join your daily life.❤
The most helpful tool in my arsenal!
Another lovely video, Danny. Your home with all its wildlife and family is really good to see. Your new table is beautiful. That persimmon stain seems like some great stuff. I've seen it can be used to dye paper and fabric as well as wood.
I’ve seen people use the persimmon stain for cloth. It’s really pretty! Maybe I’ll try staining paper with it soon.
beautiful place/life
It really is!
Thank you for another great video ☺️
You’re welcome!
Nice place to live in
So far it’s been very pleasant!
very nice 😁👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Love ur video!
Glad you enjoyed!
Ok. You vid here eeerily look the same as what Kurt softypapa made years ago. It made me so nostalgic.
No idea who he is but I searched him lol
I'm keen on some more cycling vids - if you have time.
I might have a couple of really big cycling videos coming down the pipe in August!
10:23 after the first sizable earthquake, you'll be rethinking that placement of those pots and pans hanging right in front of that window. 😉
I’m hopping the pots break the glass… It’ll give me an excuse to replace the ugly frosted glass on that side 🤣
@@DIYJapan I figured there must have been a logical reason for those pots being placed there such as convenience but that's two birds, one stone level of thinking right there. 😆😁
Are you planning to send your daughter to the local Japanese school or an international school?
She’ll go to the local school. There isn’t an international school anywhere near here. Besides, our house is the international school lol we only speak English at home.
Hi , just wondering as to where the coastal area is approximatley in Japan ,very pretty and appealing seaside. :)
Ine, in Kyoto prefecture!
