- New BetaFPV Pavo 20. This is a 2inch cinewhoo 3s capable. Pavo 20 can be use either inside or outside. Pavo 20 is a very versatile whoop. The Pavo 20 kit in the video does not come with a VTX. In the video, I show how to instale a DJI Vista on the Pavo 20. I also show how to bind you Pavo 20 to ELRS module and what setting you may need to change in Betaflight. Finally, i take the Pavo 20 for a quick flight.

Nice to see how this performs on 2s. So far, reviewers have only shown 3s, but if I were to buy this one, I'd definitely use both 2s and 3s. That prop-wash was nasty though. lol Great video.

thanks for this vid man, everyone builds it with the o3. I feel vista is great for the pavo because if i crash it i wont cry.
That is why I used a vista., and also I don't really care much about 4K recording
good review, normally you just see with O3 so its nice to see with the vista as i guess still many use that one
I have a couple of builds with the O3, but I am mostly still rocking the Vista on most of my builds. The 03 has nothing on the Vista except for the 4K.

Thanks for this video! As you said, it would have been easier to assemble without filming. Probably this is why there are not too many detailed build videos where you can really see all the details of a build from all angles. I have a mobula 8 with the vista air unit, but the pavo 20's pusher configuration is tempting me. For 4k recording I still think a little bigger drone is easier to get jello-free. But for exploration and fun this 2 inchers are really nice.

Hello there im kinda new in this but, i had dji avata before and i bought a PAVO20 as u guess, so now i did the 90% of the work i binded all the devices and applied betafly settings. I watched lot of videos but didnt get the right answer yet. So the problem is when i try to arm the drone its closing and opening again. Its resetting itself. While it happening HD icon's bar is rising down slowly, and screen gets a red line on the bottom and right after that its closing. I gived 10 hours to make it work and i believe i deserved a little bit help. Even from now i thank you for your helpful messages.
from what i am reading, it sound like you are experiencing brown out which is a temporary drop in the voltage. (1)To rule out brown out, would you please disconnect VTX (DJI O3 air unit) and arm the Kwad. It should be able to arm without problem, and try to hovering. without the vtx connect you should be able to hover with easy. if you are unable to arm and hover without the VTX, that will mean that you have a defective AIO. Keep me updated

I suppose 3S battery from Betafpv web site. I'm wondering it can fly with 2S battery anyway.
It takes both 2 and 3s. 2s for easy flying and 3s for hard flying.

How do I bind my RadioMaster Zorro 4-1 to my BetaFPV Pavo 20.....looks like you covered everything but that portion unless I overlooked it? Thanks for any help!
The Zorro 4-1 does not have ELRS protocol. In order to use your TX with the Pavo. You will need to add an external rx that the zorro 4-1 support.

Hi! The altitude hold doesn't work on my Pavo20, although the baro works. Does this feature work for you?
It is normal. Betaflight doesn't support altitude mode. The only available flight modes are Acro, Horizon, and Angle.

I'm not aware of one, but as suggested by BentRim, if you own a 3d printer, you may design one and print it.

@WhitCoburn There are some scalable parametric box models on printable. I've made several of them. 3d printer was one of my best investments and mine runs constantly.
Can you stabilize the footage from the SD Card in gyro flow?
not with the VISTA, you may be able to use gyro data from the FC

Yes, it will work with the Cetu X goggle. However, you will need to add an analog VTX and camera to the Pavo 20.

I'm a little confused. Are you trying to connect the DJI R2 to the Pavo? If yes, you will need to connect the Rx pad on the link to an open UART on the Pavo flight controller.. Bcs you will be binding the DJI R2 to the Link Rx. Have you had time to check out Mangorille video on binding the DJI R2 to the Vista. The Runcam Link is a Caddx Vista. They just use different names but they are the same
actually what i wanna do is wiring all the 6 cables of the conector in the link, but i am going to use them with the elrs rc to piliot the drone. there is any problem to do this? or i need to wire just 4 wires (vtx) to be able to use the erls rx. tnks for your awser!@@GBoniFPV
@@GBoniFPV I am putting together the same build. Pavo20, Vista Polar. I am fairly new so knowing the Runcam and Vista are similar is good information. I plan on using the DJI R2 at the moment as I don't have a ELRS radio. Do I need to do anything to disable the onboard ELRS while using the R2? Great video. Glad I found it.

Is it possible to dim the led? I think it is too bright sometimes.
I don't think so, but you should be able to turn off/on
yeah, on/off I put on a switch. I like the idea to turn the led on to find the quad easier after a crash.
When i do a motor test in beta everything seems to spin correctly and the motors push the direction they should when moving the stick but soon as i try to take off without betaflight hooked up it gies haywire
(1) recalibrate your gyro, and make sure kwad is moving according on the setup tab
(2) makes sure motors' directions are a match the direction in the motor in the motor tab on BF.
(3) makes sure prop are in the correct orientation based on the motor spinning direction
These steps should get you flying. Please let me know
@GBoniFPV ok so I got the gyro working like it should on the screen, motors test fine in betaflight but when trying to actually fly the front sucks down when the back should be pushing and no throttle
@GBoniFPV before the gyro fix everything worked as it should in the right stick but soon as throttle was applied it flipped, however all motors pushed correctly then
@GBoniFPV and props are correct, it's a props in quad, pavo20

How to rise up throttle power? So bad with almost 60% throttle
I was using a 2s lipo. This drine is really optimized for 3s. I posted the videos of this drone on 3s. It is amazing on 3s l.
What are your rates here if you dont mind me asking?
My rates are very low. On BF, I used the KISS rate.
Roll ; 0.90/0.65/0.10
PITCH; 0.90/0.65/0.10
Yaw; 0.90/ 0.64/ 0.10

Yes, but you will have to be creative to install an analog vtx.

You do not t need to update the firmware. It is an option, but this is a 2-inch drone running Betaflight. The drone is set up from the factory. It will only drink headaches if you update the firmware. In regards to binding it with to DJI FPV controller 2. It requires a couple of steps , and it will be hard to go over it in the comment section. You need to look for this video on TH-cam. " Why won't my Dji FPV contorller 2 work with the Caddx vist" by Mangorille. It is a great video, and it should help with your binding issue
@@GBoniFPV I found the video too. Should be pretty straight forward to setup. Can't be too much different than a O3?
