it's so easy for yt influencers to post "glow up tips" and being confident, and so much nowadays is based on appearance and how to look better. i feel like because tam has genuinely had similar experiences and gone through so much as a young adult, she knows what we needed. she really filled the gap in the market. i've always felt strong in my core mentally and have felt the same things tam mentioned in her video. i'm so glad there's someone popular who's getting this to girls our age. been watching her videos since last summer and they're still so thorough!

My insecurities (specially the physical appearence ones) have stopped me from doing so many things, have ruined so many experiences and moments of my life, the habit of finding something wrong every time I look in the mirror was so deeply rooted a year ago. But since I discovered your channel last March I've been working on these insecurities, and it has been a really slow process but this video has confirmed to me that I've made so much progress! A year ago this message felt so unnatural to hear, only your sound logic made me listen, but today I hear you and it feels RIGHT.
And with this video I have so much more to learn, so many specific practices to target my insecurities and keep shifting my mindset for the better, I'm so thankfull 😭😭💜

My nose is not that big and never in my life I was insecure about it but two girls of my class were talking about big nose and one of the girl said nashra's nose is big and laughed I heard it I went home looked at my nose and felt so insecure about it since then but watching your videos really helped me realised that My nose really fits my face even if it is big it looks good in my face and I am healing because of you as I have more insecurities thank you so much I love you I feel like you are my elder sister ❤

I've never felt like acne ruins someone's beauty. As a child, in some strange way, I actually thought it made people look prettier with red blush cheeks. Acne definitely doesn't hide people's beautiful smiles, and to be honest, everyone is beautiful in their own way.

I just wanted to tell you how much you and your videos mean to me and so many other other women, but not only that, you helped me as a teen who has a big problem with my body image, as well as many other teenage girls. Im at an age where all I see in a mirror are my flaws, things I'm bad at and things I can't change. It's the age where you sometimes have no control over your own thoughts and actions and I want you to know that you are one of the reasons why I was able to be at peace with myself. You're words and actions made me question this time that we live in and made my realise that am not the problem. Now I'm 16 and i quit sugar for good and I take care of what i eat, how i look, who I spend my time with and what i focus on in my day to day life. So thank you from the depth of my soul for breaking this sick and made up picture of self worth that was pushed on us!!!

I'm sure we've all seen those self love gurus, confidence builders, saying "you are beautiful as you are and you don't need to change anything" while looking like an epitome of these days beauty standards [it's like a really fair skinned person saying to a colored person, don't be insecure about your skin, i used to be too but now i'm confident, you could be too. when being white was use to be considered superior and the other colors as inferior obviously the superiors don't get the problem], but my girl tam, i'm not saying she's not pretty cause she is, its just that she shows her insecurities not for the popularity but she actually turned them into her confidence, and i wanna believe her.

When this was recommended I was looking at a girl's insta. I lost a role I wanted to her, i convinced my self it didn't matter, but internally, it still hurt bc, well, let's say she wasn't the nicest person. so many things you say are so true. i am a 22 year old guy, and i had watched enough self improvement videos mainly from male creators and its so refreshing to watch your videos, unlike those videos which always talk about bringing women and wealth into your life you tend to motivate people to improve for themselves without having an ulterior motive of attracting someone or something in your life. those things will come eventually but that thing is not the goal. the goal is the live the most fulfilling life for yourself. thank you tam :)

I’m actually going to cry. I never realised how bad I am talking to myself about my body and how I look like. I’ve been struggling with my weight since I was a child and was taking several hormonal tablets which never helped in the end. Now I’m close to 30 and I’ve gained weight again over the years and everytime I look in the mirror I question why is my partner even with me. I look ugly. So of course my body never changes because I don’t appreciate it. I am never kind to myself and acknowledge everything my body went through and it’s still keeping me alive. Thank you Tam, for making us realise that we need to be kind and appreciate the body we are in. I will practice the self talk in front of the mirror every morning and be grateful that I am in a healthy body, I can move, I can get up each morning and it is keeping me alive. ❤
