- In todays episode were building a custom exhaust and installing a bunch of carbon fiber parts for the rear end.

I vote for an OEM R34 GTR wing with the tall carbon fiber mounts, last time you installed a big wing on a GTR didn't go so well! 😅
Anything is betterr than the big @ss Walmart wings we see attached to Honda Civics and old Geo Metros trying to look like the car is actually fast.

It looks like it's too far forward because that extra bit of lip he added makes the trunk look longer in the back

as everyone is saying, the wing is like 5" too far forward, and you need to find GTR tail light covers to match the rear fenders

totally agree, sure it's not our car and we don't really have a say in it. But it looks wierd having it so far forward!
The wing needs to be mounted further back on the trunk lid. Looks silly in the middle and I feel like for aesthetics the back of the wing should be more in line with the bumper. Also the angle of attach looks like it will create lift
I was thinking that too, but you don't want to put it too back.
yea thats with most gtr womgs that aint oem they always place em middle of the lid for some reason, when you select em in the racing games like nfs its middle too sadly
i mean B is for build never does anything track related with the cars anyway so lift wont be an issue.

The wing is meh, but it’s mounted too far forward, it needs to be a couple inches further back.

@@kazanboiracing952 was talking more on the color than the execution. I am sure they will only get better at wrapping the more builds they do.
12:38 The clear and red lenses are: clear (backup light) red (rear fog light, JDM and Euro). The side the red lens goes on is dictated by the drivers side of the car. In Japan, the driver in on the right so the red lens goes on the right. In Euro land (except UK) the driver is on the left so the red lens goes on the left. In your case, the red lens should be on the left (good luck finding a left side rear fog lens). The car is looking good!
This is actually an safety feature. The fog light is on the drivers side to indicate position on the road. Same as road side reflectors always point left and down to indicate wich side you should pass it on.

Yeah I'm not sure why Chris always buys cheapo eBay wings, they never look as good as the rest of the car.

Definitely voting for the oem r34 gtr v-spec wing, I feel like it matches the build style better. This wing is just way too rice, the proportions seem all wrong. Love the entire rest of the build though!
Curious? Why did you mount the wing so far forward on the trunk?! Looks very odd.
The wing is definitely too close to the rear window, should hang further back than that
Been really loving this build. Have to say that wing has ruined it tho. Looks a bit weird being mounted in the middle of the boot

AWESOME It looks gorgeous, one thing tho, in the rear center lights beside the license plate the red should always be on the side of the driver because it's meant to be a foglight, so it would be left on usa and other places left hand drive and right on japan and other places rhd, idk if they are interchangeable tho
R34 Is RHD only. So no other way.
Love this build guys keep of the hard work!! My i make a suggestion maybe do a carbon wrap on the roof of the car so it looks like the carbon goes all the way though the middle of the car i think that would look sick

I’m a mustang / corvette guy but i have to say this is probably the coolest build you’ve done and the coolest build I’ve seen on TH-cam . Perfect mix of old & new imo .

wing should be over wheels for maximum grip? that's the way i look at it. if it's too far back it would remove downforce from front. But hey all that is only at very high speed ,so its all style taste

I think your exhaust looks really small with the widebody kit, it also needs to be extra to fit in with the whole design!

My hat is off to you and the team for this build. As an American living in Germany we are not allowed to do such builds. Although I do have a 34 GTR! I agree the wheels look terrible in my opinion. The wing should have definitely been a 34 GTR wing. Again it’s your build so you do you. Really love the way you made it all work so far. Everything can always be improved. Remember this: You can make some of the people happy some of the time but you can never make all of the people happy all of the time! 😉
the wheels are kind of weird on this car. excited to see the new ones though.

This is my favorite build so far, edging out the Datsun and the mustang that will remain nameless.
I know some people like the clean look, but I think this would look good with all the badges back on in chrome. Especially if an GT-R69 badge was added.

You need to change the rear light covers from the gtt ones to the r34 gtr ones as they kick out on the sides to match the bumper and wider rear quarters.

I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one that didn't like the wheels. Normally I much prefer a polished rim and dark spokes, but those wheel just look like white wall tires. The car is turning out so good, even the wing, which I also don't typically like, looks great. This car deserves better wheels and I am glad that it will get them.

This isnt any hate comment but i think many will aggree that the wing looks kinda bad, messes with the shape of the car a bit, needs to be further back, then will look 10 times better.
