This is mind blowing how much work and time and anguish went into this build. I would give my right testicle to own a R35 GTR, let alone a base model R34, but to combine the two in such a way is an art that not too many people can master. I scanned the comments forever to find at least one other person who noticed this! Those rear guards are the definite tell-tale signs that it was certainly not a GTR. Bit cheeky of them to claim it was a GTR but I guess a bit of lying to get views is just how folks roll these days.

Just a question, the r34 that you used the top from, was left steered. Would that not been worth more to a collector, than using it for this build? Only ever seen one left steered before, and that was a org mod from Nissan, using a stagea or silvia dashboard. Delivered to some guy in UAE or sumtin. Or did they actually send some left steered to eu?

A simple guide coat would help show imperfections and high and low spots when sanding, also you should always apply a non sanding sealer before applying your base color, not having air flow through your paint booth will leave you with a duller paint finish, just a simple fan system with some basic filtration would help improve your finish greatly, breathing in all those fumes with a particulate respirator is a serious health risk for you in particular, you should be using a positive pressure air supplied respirator only, the type of respirator your using is not capable of filtering isocyinates that are in the clear coat hardener, I was a professional auto painter for over 20 years and I've seen the results of not using the proper safety equipment, the effects don't show for years but they are permanent and often result in different forms of cancer, please take this seriously as your health and well being are priceless.
