    So just to give you a tip it’s a good idea to sell commercial properties like multi family that has issues with German roaches if you have slow months. Residential is easy stuff but having 4 years experience just in multi family in Vegas German roaches are a year round issue. Sometimes best you can hope for is control not eradication. They can move through walls but it’s better to have something as opposed to nothing but we NEVER have a slow month.

    Great videos! Great work ethics! I used to run a branch for one of the big dogs and they definitely force their customers to take the service in the rain/snow/ice.

      I hear stories like that all the time. And thank you for the compliment!! Also thank you for helping me out with replying to that other comment. I get carried away with other tasks that I don’t get to respond right away with tips.

    I won’t say the name, but I worked for one of the big corporation Pest companies. They’d constantly encourage technicians to do unethical things and hold them to unrealistic standards. Seeing this video, you’ve definitely made me realize I didn’t dislike the work itself and instead it was the company and management that I disliked. So thank you, In the distant future I’ll probably consider getting back into the industry, but this time with a smaller locally owned company.

      Don’t count on it being much better. My company is very small and make great money… but I don’t make great money. Start your own. Fuck em.

      Definitely find a family owned local pest control company. I work for one and it’s been a great experience with a great owner.

    During the colder seasons I start educating my customers about rodent control. Explain the importance of exclusion and baiting, etc. you don’t have to spray if it’s freezing out but you can take time to seal up holes around the home.

    Sounds like the same thing I do, but yeah I agree with the rain. I love cloudy days though, for 2 reasons, one is that it's not too hot and second is the liquid won't evaporate that fast, gets time to work. In Florida it rains every afternoon. If you know anyone in the villages FL who needs service, send me some business 😂

    In the start of the video you said you were going to treat for fleas, then you started spraying the yard with the flow zone backpack sprayer… you are supposed to do an overlapping method, you just walked around with no method and you missed a lot of spots… use a pattern and overlap…. Plus you walked over the areas you treated. Walk backwards in straight lines while overlapping that way you cover everything. I own a pest control company in Los Angeles, been in the pest control business for 40 years

    • @aviatorpestcontrol
      @aviatorpestcontrol  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yessss. I usually start from the backyard, and work my way up to the front in a zigzag pattern. I got carried away with the video, but still thank you for the look out.

      @@aviatorpestcontrol that’s what I thought you were distracted by making the video, but proper technique is very important especially when you are making videos, there are a lot of new techs who are looking up to you for your knowledge and expertise, it’s important to do things the proper way… but I want to say I appreciate your hard work and time you take to make these videos…. @dezz875 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      2 years in, handed out 1,000s of business cards, gone to several corporate events, etc. I've made 32,000 to date. 15k a month seems like a pipe dream to me. 😢 How'd you grow so fast? I'm located in a bigger area with probably 15+ companies all within a 50 mile radius so could be part of the problem.

      Buy customer base to get started, but out a struggling company. It'll give you a boost. I find that most customers won't do business with you if they have never heard of you, word of mouth advertising is the best, you use your existing customers as your advertisement, works really well. Friends family, give then a discount and referral bonuses, there's nothing better than taking care of your existing customers.

    What was your way of studying for the exam. Is there any tips you can give me. I will greatly appreciate it

    • @L0pez2667
      @L0pez2667 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m gonna assume you are here in Texas and that you mean for the CA exam. The CA exam is 2 parts, one is laws and regulations and the other is general standards. TDA and or PSI has great books that can be purchased from their website when scheduling for the exam. Don’t know about Arlington but for me personally I just absorbed a lot of Information from the books and the technician class I took prior to taking the exam. I also do well with cramming a bunch of info right before a test then writing down anything and everything I can remember before starting my exam.
