I have 3d printed this arc of piece, Mercedes AMG Project ONE - RC CAR.
It is 1/10th Scale. Wheelbase is 27.2cm.

For chassis i used WLtoys 144001 as a donor and created my own adaptable chassis. It is INCLUDED in STL files!
Took a lot of spare time and effort, but hope you like it! Enjoy!

hey that's awesome! I worked on the AMG ONE at mercedes HPP Northampton, I'm a machinist and produced a fair amount of cam shafts and electrical motor drive shafts for them. the work that has gone into these cars is insane. I saw lewis a couple of times too, he's a lovely guy! great work :)

Great work. I am working n a 3d peintrd F1 2023 RC and it is a pain. You should try to some Tamiya tape, you will get way more crisp lines when painting the bodies that way. Excellent work.

This looks amazing!! May I know what glue you used for the 3D printed parts to stick so well? Also, did you use acrylic paint for the black painted parts or is that some other type of paint?
Yes, black paint is acrylic and for glue i used Akfix 705 super glue

what kind of glue are you using for the resin to stay together?
It's not resin, it is PLA plastic and i use Akfix 705 glue
that is very cool but try to use better motor and batery.
Hi , you did an amazing job. By the way , i cant find the parameters to print this model. What layer , speed , temp, filament etc... Can you tell us please because it looks so clean your printing . Thanks
I used Esun PLA + filament with 210c with additional fan to my printer. Slicer is Cura, but the parameters are individual for every printer. I'm using Snapmaker 2.0 A350 printer
If you think that these prints look clean i would dread to see what you are pulling off the build plate

that is awesome, for smaller details, a resin printer might be better since you would not need to sand it down, which would mean that you can retain the detail straight from the print, but it is amazing the amount of detail you got with and FDM machine

@@hamburgerbuns9752 SLS printed part has a very low melting point and outaide at sun it will easily deform
@@MrGoodcat1 I don't think this is at all true and honestly can't find anywhere thats says it is. Im not saying you're wrong, it just doesn't seem correct. both sla and sls printing should have much better resistance to deformation then fdm printing with pla.

It is for sale but only STL file (digital version) you can print it if you own 3d printer

You might want to reinforce that middle seems like it might be a weak point in my experience I've had rc cars crack in half with a head on crash

Sorry, but it feels like video production quality is far more superior than a car manufacturing itself. You gotta put more hours into working on the body and materials to make it look cohesive. Good luck.

@10:40 Hear me out on this one... Gold Marker Pen held against the wheel while it is spinning 😏 ( that paint job with the Brush and the Stencil was _atrocious_ )
Also why not continue using Spray Cans for all of the black Parts too? You were masking the parts off anyway... Might as well use the much more superior method over Brush Paint 🤨
Masking and spray painting isn't as easy as it seems) already tried that. Have done golden line wheels on porsche, check it out

This car looks like a pakistans luxury car. A lot of effort and it was killed by bad print details post processing :(

As great as the editing is, you definitely would have a lot more nerds on your side if you had the sound of the engine as the 2015-16 class formula 1 race car..
Last I heard, that's what the engine is SUPPOSED TO BE in this particular case.
Sound for car nerds is one of the most important factors when it comes to this stuff.

FDM printer is used for body. SLM and SLS for chassis
