How bout that Lupe? I loved his philosophy on harnessing positive energy.
He is a very cool human.!! 💗
Lupe's place was a feel good place. Cactus garden, camp fire, long day without cars. Mending old wounds and feeling good. I enjoy all of it a lot and it helps me see my self as well. Looking at what is really going on with ones self can feel like a tricky thing and a risk. There is beauty to be found there though! Thanks, 🙂
Amazing human being Ryan😊
Lupe is right, being around green plants is scientifically proven to alter our cognitive states for the better, and yes thoughts are things. We create our own realities by the things that we think and say to ourselves. It’s wild! Thank you for taking us on another adventure! The dogs I’m pet sitting perked up at the barking dogs greeting you in the morning and also at the chicken in the background 😂
Absolutely. Great video, Ryan!
The most positive, loving, and goofiest human on the internet! DON'T EVER CHANGE!!
I won’t, I promise…well, maybe I’ll get a little goofier ;)
@@duzer we should all channel our inner Duzer
Thank you. You said your rides are therapy for you. Well, your video today was therapy for us. ❤. Thank you for sharing.
You really met some special people in that town. And , more importantly you took the time to connect with them. Reminding us all to slow down and enjoy the here and now.
Cheers 🌞🚴♀️🖖
Thank you, it's an absolute honor to share these stories with you
Good call on walking thru the water. Simple pleasures of life!
It sure is!
Baja travelers should always carry a water purifier. The entirety of Baja is a bovine preserve. The water may seem clean but you are sharing it with cows and goats and horses oh my. Thanks for the video Ryan.
Indeed!
Another fabulous video, beautiful scenery and wonderful people. I half expected Clint Eastwood to come riding through that little pueblo. Janet's restaurant was a gem of a find out there in the middle of nowhere, and the cactus sanctuary was something else! Lupe's love for his cactus was beautiful!
I loved this day! And Lupe has such a sweet heart
Love the cactus sanctuary. That and Janet’s meal was a perfect ending to a perfect day! I’m thoroughly enjoying watching your trip. Thank you Ryan for your content and your positive energy. Thank you! 🙏🏻
It was a perfect day, made all the better by my cozy camping spot and meeting Lupe
@@duzer I feel I have a new respect for the cactus! 🌵
I am happy you're strengthening your relationship with your sister. Pride has gotten in my way many times -- and I'm in my fifties and still learning what really matters in life. I look forward one day to taking a bike ride and camping under the stars. Stay groovy Ryan.
My man! I hear you on this and I hope that you’re able to camp under the stars soon
In this video, I can really feel the emotion this day of riding brought for you. Keep the adventure going. You are doing great things!
Thank you. This entire ride was good for my soul, I did a lot of processing out there.
This really was a truly awesome video. What was a very cool place, the cactus sanctuary. What cool and earth connected people.
But learning about your sister, that was unbelievably precious.. I, too, have an older sister, and she's a very important part of the 4 siblings in my family. I'm so very glad you were able to reconnect with her.❤
Love this video Ryan, the desert scenery made it even more special. ❤
This one goes out to Sara!!
Ryan--What you said about how the future is promised to no one is so true. Everyone always assumes they have more time. My kid brother likes to say that getting older is not a privilege extended to everyone. His best friend from high school and Best Man at his wedding dropped dead at 53 from a massive heart attack, while on the job (special ed) 3 years ago this past week. Then, the day after he found out about Tim, he got a call from his other good friend from high school to tell him he had just been diagnosed w/pancreatic cancer. Nick fought it for 2-1/2 years. He died this past August at 56. I still cry at times. These were "the kids" my brother hung out with. If you love someone, tell them today. Nobody knows what tomorrow holds.
May all your tomorrows be wonderful. Live long and prosper🖖 Your adventures bring joy to many.
Wow, that’s a lot of loss in a short amount of time :( Life is indeed fragile.
Ryan!!! Love this vid, and all your video adventures! The cactus sanctuary was beautiful. Thank you again!!
I loved ending my day there!!
The irony of a cactus getting rid of negativity. Proof of a supreme being 🤯😊
Indeed!
What i love the most about ur adventures is the bikepacking mindset you have to be comfortable with the uncomfortable….its something really meaningful in this society! Keep rockin’
Indeed!!
There's nothin' you can know that isn't known
Nothin' you can see that isn't shown
There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be
It's easy
All you need is love
Yes!
Today was a great day.....Amen ❤
It sure was!
Thank you for being such a wonderful person Ryan
someday I wish to ride or run or just meet you in person Ryan. You are such a beacon of positivity. Just the sort of person I need in my life. Thank you for always inspiring me to be the best I can be.
I hope to someday meet YOU!! Thanks for the kind words
Shout-out to Sara Van Duzer! Hey Sara, it’s Salem Martin!
Take it from me sisters are a precious thing and the world isn’t the same when they leave us
❤️❤️❤️
Oh, congratulations for reconnecting with your sister! My brother recently moved near me and I’m hopeful to reconnect too! No one knows us like our siblings
It’s amazing, and so true about siblings
Thank you for all your positivity, Ryan. The world needs more of this. ❤️
And thank you for watching my videos
Always!
A tremendously positive use of the media and well executed, I am in awe and envy, and loving it. Thanks
Wow, thank you!
I love that you did this in honor of your sister. Feb is my late sister’s bday and also her passing day. This vid is for my sister too - thank you ❤
It’s for all the sisters!! Sending you a hug
Sand City ~ Even just walking would be rough, it must have been nice to glamp (next to fellow bikers too) I really like "Sarah's Oasis" ~ How nice to have family ❤ . Lots of spiders? Lol There must be a secret way to rub cacti that doesn't hurt lol. Another fantastic film bro! ~
What a beautiful episode this is….
affirmation of Love, Sara’s Oasis (she loves you yeah, yeah, yeah…) for family, food, others (Mira & John, Mamma Picchu, Logan,Ethan…)
An uplifting episode that exudes through this video Viva Ryan !
Thanks, this one was indeed all about love and the special people in my life
It's cliché, but it's too late when you die..
Our family had troubles, I was too busy trying to make it with the cool kids(who were a bunch of A-holes, I realized too late). Little sister tried to make a better home, but I was too caught up with myself. Home is most important, don't worry about the flashy crowd. They are a bunch of phonies.
It's always a good day when you drop a video. Thanks for another great one.
Thanks, Ron! I'm glad that you enjoy them!
Re eating bananas whilst traveling, I highly recommend looking for sundried bananas [not the cruncy kind]. They usually come in a pack of 12 whole bananas and take up about the same amount of volume as a full sized fresh banana, but are a bit more rectangular. 😀They look a bit like a slug, but are rather yummy, last for years and don't suffer damage in a bike bag. Possibly the best size to goodness ratio for food on a bike.
Maybe the eco shop you go to in Boulder will have them.
Oooh! Im gonna look for these, thanks!
We love you Ryan ❤ greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Thank you!! I’m sending love to Germany
What a great day. Take away the negative and take in the positive. Good rule for life. Take care, Al
Indeed!! and massage a cactus in the process ;)
The cactus sanctuary was very cool! So was the caretaker. Keep the videos coming!
It was! I loved everything about that place
Ryan to dog: Good morning!
Dog to Ryan (Translated): Woof (No Crashies!), woof (No Flatties!), woof (No Whammies!) 😁
Ha!! Love this!!
You're such a positive person, Ryan. You inspired me to do a bike trip to Sweden.
Nice!! You’re gonna love Sweden
What a lovely day you had! So much positive vibes and beautiful places!🤗❤ I really enjoyed this episode, thank you!😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
I look forward to every upload! Thank you :)
Happy to hear that! Thank you
That gate would have been quite a challenge if you couldn't fit the bike under it😂That was some gnarly terrain on the other side😉I'm glad you made up with your sister Ryan😊That sure was a special restaurant, I'm loving this series Ryan👌I'm setting off on a long ride at first light in the morning, no sand where I'm going in the Scottish hills and it should be my first 100 miler of the year and I'm excited😁
I was very happy that there was a way to get my bike under that gate, going over the top would have been difficult! Have so much fun on your journey!
@@duzer Thank you Ryan😊
This was such a nice episode! Must've been the lack of cars 😊
I agree! No cars is always nice
You always seem to ride into kindness. The world needs more positive energy and kindness.
There’s a lot of it out there! I’m lucky enough to meet some of the kindest people
What a amazing and soul inspiring video
Glad you think so!
Another good day on the bike leading to interesting experiences. Nice way to spend a day
I agree, it was a good one
Awesome!
Hermano tienes una vibración increíble
You’re amazing good energy
Good living
Gracias, amigo!!
Wonderful trip!!!
It really is!
People are so interesting! I loved the man's conviction in the cacti absorbing negative energy. He was so genuinely invested in what he was saying. Thanks for sharing another hidden gem!
Couldn't agree more! Lupe LOVES his cacti
I love Janet! Keep your Christmas, sweet lady, and have much happiness 🩵
I agree!! Big fan of Christmas decorations
No Flatties, no Crashies & no Whammies 4ever and always a safety Ride. 💯🎸🎙🎵🎧👍
YOU KNOW IT!
Great video!! Enjoy them all! Keep making us all smile! Being goofy 🤪 is good!!
You can always count on me being goofy
Awesome !!video.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this with us sir. I think i would have camped at the sarah Oasis if i came across it. So pretty.
That was indeed a beautiful spot, but the cactus sanctuary and meeting Lupe was an amazing place to end the day
Beautiful photography. So glad that you reconnected with your sis
Thank you!
2:05 Hotel California in Todos los Santos, Baja California Sur: founded in 1948; several entities supposedly haunted the inn's courtyard.
Oooooooooooh
LOVE LOVE LOVE your great🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴👍
Love back atcha
Always happy to see a new Duzer video. Currently preparing my touring bike for the next tour. Can't wait to get on the bike again!
Right on! Have so much fun out there
@@duzer Thanks! You too on the next one!
really enjoyed this one Ryan! thx for sharing as always...
Thanks, my friend! I hope that life is treating you well.
@@duzer been skiing a bunch so all is good!
Have kids, Ryan. The world needs more free spirits
Nice video! when you where in Sweden (where I live) you met a bike tourer. Con was his name. Me and Con stopped and talked a few days later and we talked about my bike touring channel. And later I see him on your channel. Many meetings with TH-camrs for Con this summer😁
That’s crazy! What a small world. Happy trails
Great videos
Glad you like them!
GREAT Stuff...from the "mending" to the "meal" (damn that looked good) to the Nopal sancuary...
It was a good day!
You show us a different side of a place that is always presented in news as nothing but negative.
This is your best video to date.
Thank you Ryan, I am off for a pre-dawn ride at 21° F and loving it.
Keep Crankin' Ryan
...
It's all about how we approach and see things, we need more people like you in this world.
Thanks amigo.
Thank you, Frank. Mexico gets a bad rap in the media, which is mostly due to drug violence, but everyday Mexico is safe and beautiful. Hope your chilly ride was fun
Thank you for sharing your adventure! The cacti garden looked interesting and well tended too. Do you ever see snakes when biking trails? Especially in hot climates like beautiful Mexico.
I haven’t seen many snakes in Baja, only one actually
That food looks so good and yummy, that reminds me I haven't had Taco Bell for a few weeks. YUK!
It was so tasty!! Love home cooked Mexican food
Great job! Now you should ride north
Hmmmm, maybe next time :)
So… at that roadside shrine, was that a moosifiction? 😂
Great videos, looking forward to the next one!
Haha!! Seems like it 😂😂
Just saw you on a Tiny House Nation re-run! That must seem like a lifetime ago! Keep being awesome!
Haha! That’s funny. It does seem like a long time ago
Hola Ryan, gracias por publicar videos. Eres un aventurero increíble y una persona amable, eso es lo que hace a una persona sobrehumana. abanico indio
Muchísimas gracias!! Ser amable es lo más importante
Thank you for another great video! You take me to places that I only dream about. Your legs must be made of steel. You're the steel legged man.
It's a honor to take you places virtually
Baja humbug for me 😅... could not handle that .. barely did a few miles today and I'm beat lol.
A few miles is better than no miles!
@@duzer yes! I'm getting better at my older age 😅
You beat everyone who stayed on the couch
@@davidp7414 sho did! Thank you 😎
What mounts do you use for your seat stays?
👍
Hey Ryan! loved this one :D out of curiosity, how much media storage do you typically bring with you?
Thanks, amigo! I usually bring about 10 SD cards with me in a little Pelican case.
14:30 Your thoughts reminded me of a Garth Brooks song; "If tommorow never comes"..
I'll have to go check out that song, thanks!
2:04 ...is that THE "Hotel California"?😀
I’ll call up The Eagles and ask them ;)
@@duzer 🤣👍
I hope you know that we're out here sending love back to you, Ryan. I mean, your videos are cool, but...
I feel the love, my friend!!
First!
You’re always #1
Just starting to watch you and Ali, where did she go? Didnt work out ?
It didn’t work out, but we’re still very good friends
Well i will enjoy watching the story
Third❤
I sense you are battling depression?
If I am mistaken, I apologize.
Great video as usual.
I’m out here processing feelings and emotions while on the trail. Adventure cracks open my heart and brings a lot of stuff to the surface. I always come home from an adventure with a renewed sense of LIFE! I have my ups and downs like anyone else, and being outside with lots of time to think is medicine for my soul.
Cool stuff but I have to ask "Strawberries in Sweden" ??....did I hear that right???.....I also sense a chance meeting J & M.....hmmmmmmmm
Swedish strawberries are the best!!! I wish that John and Mira would magically show up, but they’re far away
Where'd the famous Duzer butter knife go??
Haha! I forgot it, but luckily I still had my wooden Swedish spoon in my backpack.
Ryan....speaking of love... perhaps you answered this in the past but I must have missed that video Whatever happened with the girl you used to date last year?
Watch the end of video #2 in this series
La araña pequeñita subió subió subío…
😂😂😂
Wait what...peanut butter instead of nutella?!? 🤦♂
It’s so much easier the spread ;)
@@duzer yeah in colder climates nutella requires a bit of work but the reward! 😅
If you would like to consume cleaner ingredients in the foods they sell in the grocery stores do research on what ingredients in food are actually unhealthy for the human body and to avoid them.
Good idea
Seriously you've never taped a banana to your handlebars? That's weird.
hahaha, I should try that
That Priority needs more cowbell! 💛⛰️🦬
It sure does!! 😂
I loved how when you hit that steep rocky part and didn't make it up the first time, it was the perfect set up for a side camera shot! That was great, I love when we get to see a different perspective
Thanks for noticing! It takes extra time to setup those shots, but I love the varying angles. Cheers!
👍
