Hey Ryan! As one of the two creators of the San Rafael Swell Night Out route (along with my buddy Patrick: @worldsbetweenlines), and as someone who has followed an appreciated your videos for many years now, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your experience on this route with everyone. It is incredibly rewarding to see people out experiencing the beauty of the Swell, which you have captured perfectly! Also, thank you for also showing the challenges that the route provides (and the rewards thereafter) as it is one of the hardest things to convey in a short written format, but it is so so critical to letting riders know what the route entails and what they should expect while riding. Looking forward to the Day 2 Video and thanks for sharing the stoke! - Seth (@tipsyrider)

"This is what you came for". There is wisdom in seeing that. When I am in a hard place riding my bike, I focus on my breath and it starts to feel like the difficulty is near me, but not enveloping me. It is kind of like knowing there is the pain and there is me, and the two are different and separate things. That looked like the perfect camp site! 🙂

Hi there! If I had a bike computer I would have known the gradient, but I didn’t for this ride. You can look at the route description (link below) and check out the route on Ride with GPS…that’ll give you all the info of the entire route

Unreal, beautiful scenery. Those drone shots are incredible.
I finished watching your GDMBR series over the last week, and was so inspired that I've planned to get out on a mountain bike for the first time in a decade and spend a couple days bikepacking in one of England's national parks (although seriously less impressive than anything in states). Thanks for sharing your adventures and being an inspiration!
