Thank you Danny for allowing us the follow the steps Jesus took through Jerusalem. We read about it in the bible but to be able to SEE it brings his life and message closer. Christians should also learn about the Jewish traditions as that's what Jesus practiced and we share a sense of brotherhood.

Rushed and full of unanswered questions the first time, those questions were beautifully answered this time. Thank you both. This casual series is placing many queries in a proper context. That is quite the model, even with its shortcomings. Your theories are as good, or better, than any I’ve heard

Very informative and good presentation of the different possibilities of the various sites of events of Jesus' final hours. A note on Jesus visiting a Mikveh. I never before considered the fact that Jesus would do this but your citation of historical events at Bethesda and Siloam certainly suggest this possible reality. It seems plausible from a Christian perspective (Jesus was sinless) that Jesus would in fact use a purification rite. Jesus was also baptized by John the Baptist without needing repentance but "to fulfill all righteousness." So its would be normative to use a Mikveh also.
