    Toda Raba so much for these awesome videos. I was able to go to Israel in 2009. We all got tickled at seeing all the cats in Jerusalem. I noticed on this video a cat was walking by. I'm a person that animals like for some reason and it got wherever went there would be a cat and each time it would come up to me. The group got amused by how the cats would come to me. Even in Jaffa before we went to go get on the plane a cat came up.

      Hi Redskingirl. Israel didn't give up custody over the Temple Mount. The opposite. It maintains its security to this day. But Moshe Dayan set the status quo that it will remain an excusive Mulsim prayer site, while the Western Wall will be a Jewish prayer site. Some may not like it, but the alternatives could lead to a third world war..

Also, when you say that you are walking where Jesus walked, does it feel any different.? I know that for me it would be an incredible thing and I would be overwhelmed with emotion. I’m a little bit puzzled by all these ancient remnants around the Temple Mount. How come the stones around the south west corner were not removed and reused during the Middle Ages? And wouldn’t the stairways and ruins outside Hulda Gate be helpful to an attacker since that would be outside the medieval walls?

    • @danny.the.digger
      @danny.the.digger  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The destruction layer of the Temple Mount walls was eventually filled up, but a good share of them was actually very recycled by the Ummayads. And the gates were blocked (and are to this day) to stairs don't make much of a difference..

    I really enjoyed your tour of that part of Jerusalem which brought about some questions concerning where the Temple Mount is actually located. There are a few videos that give reasonable explanations where the Temple Mount could be located but no clear cut answer.
    But I happened to search Bar Kokhba which raised more questions. The post I read said after Emperor Hadrian defeated Bar Kokhba he denied the Jews access to Jerusalem and destroyed everything on Temple Mount and then lowered Temple Mount by 1000 feet. If that were true would the "western wall" still be where it is today?

      Where does it say about lowering the mountain? This doesn’t sound right..

    Jesus told His disciples that those who are clean need only to wash their feet, so I suppose He did that. God bless you.

    Do museums and antiquities sometimes state that things are replicas to keep people from messing with the artifact? I can't see them hauling out a huge stone like that.

    Is this area open to group pilgrimage? This was the missing piece during our pilgrimage last 2017. I saw it only when our tour bus pass by it.

    Amazing pictures, so clear, crisp and your commentary is so enlightening. But, why were these gates blocked? If you did tell us, I missed it, please explain to us why this was done. Thanks

      Not sure when and why. Probably the Muslims against the Crusaders.

    Bob Cornuke needs to understand, this is where the temple was in the south, next to the Ophel. Not in the old 13 aches of David’s Castel.

    Is the damage pavement in front of the wall destroyed by the roman and never rebuilt again until now? Is it left damage on purpose?

    Wonder if He used the eastern gate to enter all the time, or if he used the other gates at times, I heard someone say one time that the eastern gate was the gate that the kings would enter through in ancient times

    Why did the steps have to be rebuilt...were the stones' steps used to build other structures?

      @danny.the.digger  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, most of the stones were later recycled.

    It says everywhere that the priests are rebels of god
    I wouldn’t say that
    I would say very stubborn
    Are they ready to open up there hearts
    Humanity is depending on there next move
    Will they choose truth
    Or will they choose the darkness again
    Power and greed most likely
    The world wants to know
    Hopefully they are smart enough to choose god this time
    Swallow your pride that easy
    And the world will be saved
    Choose this time
    The right choice
    Easy answer because you know history
    The world will depend on this answer
    So tighten your robes and pull up your socks
    Cause we know the darkness always creeps In
    Put a stop 🛑 to it the end we win
