The question is why is every TH-camr (established and starting) put out videos about why "people are buying Fujifilm" and the X100x cameras. The simple answer is for clicks.
@@enshongmirandaI Think fujifilm is a for shure a good camera. But i think they don‘t produce that many cameras. You won‘t find many fujicameras on secondplace markets because when you buy it it is good. but the price is a bit the problem and you cant upgrade from this aps-c size
@@ach121 Plenty of them in my country. Some are just overpriced by scalpers. And Fujifilm tacitly limiting production isn't helping. But I'm glad I left the X-Series though. I still have a GFX as the IQ is just great and the GFX prices on the used market has been going down.
just bought my first camera, you nailed it, i liked the physical body, quality, filters and i honestly wanted something different. i was gonna get 4/3rds than decided on getting aps-c
Gen Z is on a retro fad right now, so you guys go for this style. Also you were primed with Instax cameras so you want immediate effect on your pics. Older folks shoot with whatever they have, because they can be in control of the style regardless of the camera. From this perspective Fuji color is not the best, because it's inacurate. The cameras look nice, but they're limited compared to a DSLR or anything with a grip in their ergonomics. So I think the Fuji fad is temporary, because many of those Fuji owners will eventually want to earn money with their skills and from there the standard RAW workflow will take over. Fuji is a very nice brand to ease you from taking snaps on your phone, to more complex photography, so I always respected them. Small rangefinders have always been the core of the Bresson Cartier philosophy, so this fad is exposing many young people to fine art photography and I love it.
I agree with everything you said. I wanted to make clear that Fujifilm camera's are so populair right now mainly because of their formfactor, tactile feeling, etc. Compare that to a Canon 5D or a Sony A7IV, you know what i mean? Definitely didn't want to bash other brands or anything, just explaining the Fuji hype from nowadays.
People say 'everyone is buying Fujifilm' ... But they have 8% market share.

Yep. Absolutely this. It is my honestly held belief that the 'shortage' of some Fuji camera models is done on purpose to create hype.
To be fair, fujifilm doesn't make enough cameras to absorb any more of the market. They are purposely limiting their stock.
Really enjoyed watching, gonna get me some Fujiii
