We absolutely loved this recipe! I made it for the holidays and now getting ready to do it again for Easter. Leftovers freeze beautifully, so there's plenty to eat a little later.

Omg you had me at you not being a huge fan of the smokey flavor. I dint hate the smokey flavor but I think it tends to overpower meats at times also. Your recipe was made for people like me!!! Thank you so much!!!! I can't wait to try your recipe out 😋 😍

I've got your recipe, approximately halved, in my slow cooker right now. I subbed a few ingredients.. used chipotle chilli flakes and cayenne pepper, ½tbsp mustard powder (hope that will be ok 🤯) so will let you know how it turns out. It smells so lovely, im salivating already 🤤 Thankyou!

Yes I believe so. It won’t be as “sweet” but will still be flavorful. And I use a semi-sweet BBQ in this recipe anyway (Sweet Baby Ray’s Hickory & Brown Sugar). I, too, am a diabetic. I probably don’t need the brown sugar either LOL. Thanks for your comment 😃

Can we skip the brown sugar ? ( I’m diabetic )you already using BBQ sauce that have lots sugar in it 🤷🏼♀️

Why would you throw out the liquid??? Reduce it down to thicken it a bit and put it back on the pork.
How much onion do you need?
I used 1 chopped yellow onion.
Where is the receipe?
Chicken broth with pork? Conflicting flavours, why not vegetable?
Too slow for me.
