Why not cook the taco seasoning with the ground beef like you're supposed to? Instead of sprinkling it on top 🤷🏽♀️ In this instance, the pre-shredded cheese melted better than the hand grated 😮😆❤️

" like you're supposed to " ? To begin with, she had precooked ground meat at the beginning of the video. How would she have shown adding the taco seasoning to it when cooking the meat. Showing the package & using as seasoning is her recipe. 😆
@sherriforeman8953 Who TF sprinkles dry taco seasoning on top of the meat??? You brown the meat, add the seasoning & water in the pan that you cooked the meat in. Let it simmer. Then use it however you wish. That's how you incorporate the seasoning with the meat. If you can't cook, just say so 🤷
@Jack_Stafford I understand what you're saying, but I've never seen anyone sprinkle dry taco seasoning on top of the meat like she did 🤷🏽♀️ That's all. I appreciate your explanation. I think pasta, especially spaghetti, doesn't cook well in a crock pot. Since it can't really be stirred while it's cooking, the pasta tends to stick together, making big clumps of pasta that the inside of the clump is barely cooked! I prefer to minimize the water added to the crock pot, cooking the spaghetti on the stove like I normally would. After all ingredients in the crock pot are cooked, I add the already cooked pasta to the pot at the end. Then you know that the spaghetti is cooked evenly!

It's how they make the videos longer, so they can make more money. IMHO, the majority of these "best way to make..." videos are a scam. They find existing recipes online and try to make them "faster and easier" in a crockpot. The problem with that is, most of the time they're using ingredients that don't have the same cooking times or methods and everything either comes out undercooked or overcooked or both. This woman and several of the people on other channels just like this one, seem to be completely clueless in the kitchen. I think they've convinced themselves that even if they've never really cooked anything before, all they have to do is copy the way other people do things in their videos and the food will just turn out the way it's supposed to. Unfortunately it's more like the blind leading the blind because none of them seems to have a clue about what they're doing. LOL
I break my pasta in the box before i open it. Just put the box on the stove about halfway off the edge, hold down box with one hand, and push the other half down over the edge of the stove until it bends and breaks the pasta inside.

I don't like enchilada sauce. I make my own taco seasoning as well because I don't like the packets because of the additives they add in there. So what I do when I make homemade tacos is I mix my seasoning with some beef broth and that makes tacos taste really good. I also make my own taco cheese by using my taco seasoning and sprinkling some on some colby jack and then you have your own taco cheese. I also shred my own cheese so you don't have the agents they put in the cheese to keep it from caking and sticking together. My recipe for taco seasoning is 3 tbsp of chili powder, than 2 tbsp of cumin and 1 tbsp of coriander. Mix it together and use it on anything you like to have a taco flavor in and it's really good. Plus it's so much easier than buying the packets because you probably have the ingredients in your home already and it'll save you money because if you already have the ingredients you don't have to go out and buy the packets. You can make a bunch of this ahead of time and put it in a container and then anytime you need taco seasoning you've got it. I do this all the time and I even put some in my deviled eggs and it's really good. So I think I am going to just make mine with some beef broth and my taco seasoning and I hope you guys try this recipe for my taco seasoning and I hope you like it.
@@tracypleiss8271 let me tell you the whole taco recipe. Make the seasoning and get 3 lb of ground turkey and use one and a half to 1 and 3/4 of a cup of beef broth to mix with your seasonings. Now I also hide vegetables in here so if your kids don't like vegetables this is the way to sneak them in. I use one medium zucchini and two carrots and peel them and shred them up as finely as I can and mix them in with my meat. And add a few cloves of garlic, but make it to your liking. If you don't like garlic then don't add any, but if you love garlic then add six if you like. But by hiding the vegetables in there the kids will never know and you can't tell they're in there either. My nephew hated zucchini and he loved my tacos and once I told him that zucchini was in there he couldn't believe it and he went back and had seconds and thirds. Thank you for writing back and letting me know that you like the recipe for my seasoning. I like cooking from scratch as much as possible because I'm disabled and I have health issues and I like to know what I'm putting in my body compared to all the additives and everything else that gets put into shelf safe food. Now I'm not going to lie and say that I don't ever eat any of that stuff because I do but I try to cook from scratch as much as my body allows me to. If there's any other scratch recipes that you're looking for please let me know and if I have something that I do for that then I will definitely let you have the recipe. I enjoy sharing my recipes and cooking for others when I'm able to cook it all and able to cook extra. I'm actually cooking this weekend and sharing with my son and my granddaughter. And remember you can add this Taco flavoring to just about anything. If you would like to use it and sprinkle it on some chicken, I say go for it. If you want to sprinkle it on a roast then cook it the way you normally cook it then I say go for that as well. Anything you want to taste like tacos then please by all means use it and hopefully you enjoy it. Like I said I've added it into my deviled eggs and still sprinkled some smoked paprika on the top and it was delicious. Now I didn't add a whole lot to it, but just enough that you could tell that it was there. And not many people could figure out what I had put in there until I told them and they were shocked how good it was. So spread your wings and use it wherever you like that flavoring and enjoy.
@@SherryAnn1967 Thank you for sharing. I too try to limit additives and preservatives and inflammatory foods. I will definitely try your taco recipe, it sounds wonderful. Hope I can find you on here next time I have a question for a recipe. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing. I too try to limit additives and preservatives and inflammatory foods. I will definitely try your taco recipe, it sounds wonderful. Hope I can find you on here next time I have a question for a recipe. Thank you.

I absolutely love the idea of the meals I’d would make them different for sure same ingredients add a couple spices and the cheese bless her heart 😂
God Bless and congratulations on getting married, Y'ALL. . . HUGS AND LOVE.
I love this recipie and want a copy
I think it looks absolutely delicious just the way you made it!!!
You need to read your instructions about the crockpot. You're not supposed to lock that lid down while it's cooking
Locking the lid down keeps it sealed.
It's cornstarch on the cheese, keeping it from clumping. It's not bad, it just doesn't melt as well 😊
Cornstarch? I think it is cellulose, which keeps it from melting as well as freshly grated
It all depends on the brand of grated cheese - still a good idea to read the ingredients.
Looks very tasty. I’m going to them all.
What's the temp settings are you using on all of these please advise
Girl you are a mess!! I love it! You cook like me.....messy but delicious! LOL😂

@user-ci1fj1bj7y I'm 72. No high blood pressure, no heart problems, no diabetes. Weight is under control, and I look younger than I am. Don't drink or smoke. Love snacks more than food and prefer cokes to any other drinks. My cholesterol is a bit high. At this stage of my life, I don't care. When we are gone, we are gone. The problems I have are my mental health. I stopped seeing any Doctors. Co- Pays are too much. Female problems have been my issue. Have had an Overectomy because of endometriosis and Double mastectomy after 2 bouts with Cancer. Oh, and by the way, mind your own business, dear.
You need an oval crock pot. You should never break up the spaghetti. Or you a different padta like rotini, gemelli, etc
Do the Fritos get soggy I’m wondering🤷♀️👍
Definitely making this looks so delicious!!
Look's delicious 😋😋 and yummy 😋
Geesh ive never seen such a clumsy cook. Lmao. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Cooking while on Nitris Oxcyde
Too much alcohol
So simple and looks delicious!!! I gotta try that.
Love the Enthusiasm....so inspiring.....the food was simple and elegant....kudos to your crockpot delights....xo
It's easier to use smaller amounts of pasta and just bend in half. Less pieces flying around your kitchen
Fritos are gonna be all soggy smh. Put the fritos at the top after its cooked so the fritos have crunch
I'm ready to start cooking! Thank you.
Also chili is great with this instead of enchilada sauce
Wait... theres still shells on the shrimp...????
The shrimp looked to me like the kind you buy already cooked and frozen.
We can buy them without the shell in this century
Cellulose is an ingredient that keeps the shredded cheese from sticking and clumping.
Cellulose is in all the grated, shredded, or shaved Parmesan cans/jars/zip lock package that you sprinkle on your spaghetti or added into any other cheese that has been prepped for you and not in a block.
Wait? It doesn’t come from trees?😂😂😂😂
That looks very yummy
It looks so good😊
She should have got the kinda shrimp with the tails off of them
Hunny, that pasta wasnt even done. 😂😂
The pasta was all clumped together. Marty has real low expectations. 😂
I’m going to try all of these. Thanks, looks delicious 😋
Have you ever thought of layering your ingredients? So you won't break up your chips. Just saying.
it sounds like you are talking to a kindergarden class.
Oh no! Kids would be afraid of her voice
That's it!!! She reminds me of my Home Economics teacher... nails across a chalkboard type voice! Trying to sound so excited but NOT
Looks good need the recipe
Fantastic meal.
As a Mexican, I cannot in good conscience finish watching this, but I admire your bravery in trying.
