Watched this with sound off yesterday and almost thought it was going to have a programming wheel for daylight saving or something (set them on/off independently, represented in the triangle). That would have been absolutely wild. Couldn't wrap my head around how that would be mechanically possible, and so I guess watching with sound now it's not surprising that's not what it was. Still a thoughtful thing though, the triangle indicator.
Great video, a pleasure to watch (and listen to). The original Lange 1 Zeitzone is one of my favorite watches from ALS, so great to see this being refreshed with meaningful updates. Love the video! Was hoping for a mention of cost? I mean, not going to run out and buy one, but I guessed $130,000? Am I way out there or close? My G Shock allows for different time zones, but is much harder to set and read than this model.
What a great watch. And another Lange i will never own. But the zeitgeist and the automatic perpetual calender are still my favorite. I would still give a limb to own this one tbh. 😅

Corundum is aluminium oxide Al2O3. The red variety that gets its color from chromium is called ruby, all other varieties are called sapphire, also the clear one which is basically pure aluminium oxide. And it's not a glass, it's a crystal. Interestingly, aluminium and oxygen are two of the most abundant elements in the earth's crust.
