I'm having the same issue as @jackZucker. I notice in your tutorial there is a check box next to each feature. In my photoshop there are no checkboxes so it's as if they are all checked. Maybe that's why the weird square around the hair happens when I'm just trying to adjust facial age. It makes such an obviously dark box of hair that I cannot use that one feature. Sad...

This video was made when the filter was still in beta and we were just exploring it. That’s why the interface looks a little different. I agree, this particular filter has quite a way to go before it’s really useful.

I was watching this on my phone and I couldn't see the screen good and I heard you say something about the gaze slider but what I pictured was a gays slider. What about the heterosexual slider. 😂

the neural filters in photoshop are a joke. And mainly because photoshop has a really poor auto-selection mechanism. Particularly for hair. I spent 3 minutes with the facial age slider and with even the teeniest tweak, it makes the hair look like it was cut out using a pair of scissors. I suspect you know that and deliberately used a portrait with a dark background to minimize the obviousness of this issue. Until photoshop puts a huge amount of effort into their subject-selection algorithms, none of their AI will ever be any good for portraits.

Actually I chose a dark background because that’s what I like use in my portraiture. But that is good know about the limitations with the hair. And I agree these tools have a LONG way to go. But they may be good for creating a useful section that you could possibly composite into a photo.
