    Super useful video mate - I'm starting to get some requests for work I haven't done before (like headshots) and although I'm reasonably confident in winging it and making it work, it's so handy being able to jump onto your channel and learn more about the nuts and bolts aspects. Cheers, Colby.

    How do you delivery your images to your clients? How and what do you use? I'm always interested in how you manage your business (excel sheets, Customer Management Software (CMS), etc).

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ricky! I actually simply use Dropbox for photos like this and other content. I use a fancy gallery hosting site (smugmug) for wedding galleries. Reason for it, is it’s more important to use whatever is easier for the client. For example, the online gallery I use has to be created, organized, setup, client has to set up with their email, then download them, and so on. Vs dropbox, click the link and download, super quick and easy for them. I use a CRM called HoneyBook, for my wedding work which is nice! Thanks for watching!

    Awesome video tutorial. Personally I thought the skin smoothing thing was a bit harsh and makes it looks a bit cartoonish. But it is all personal preference / creative interpretation, so it’s all good. Great videos. Thanks.

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man! Thanks so much. I agree with you! I wish most people would accept how they look on camera but typically clients request extra retouching, I prefer a natural approach as well, thanks for watching!

    • @JoshPostVlogs
      @JoshPostVlogs ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AndreiRestrepo Thanks for the response! Yes, I think over editing (cartoonish look) is kind of a style now that I’ve been seeing a lot in professional photos for adverts and such. And maybe even more so as AI is starting to take over photos. Interesting stuff. Cheers. I enjoyed your Headshot video also where you explained your setup. 👍

  • @triplewinlin5576

    To save time, if you did a large number of headshots in the same lighting setup (for instance at a corporate shoot,) could you copy the editing from one and paste to the rest of them in LrC?

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Totally, I do that too! Only problem is, you can’t do half the editing techniques you can do in PS in LR. So just depends on how much editing you need to do! Thanks for watching!

      Hey man! Honestly, you can still get the same results using the actual Dodge & Burn tool, it's "O" on Mac. Just bring it down to 5-10% and a soft brush and you'll honestly get the same look! Mostly how I do it now. Thanks for watching!

  • @danielcohen9656
    @danielcohen9656 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So .... I really like this process. I'm building my skills and you introduce some really good techniques that are different to others, and if anything easier to manage. But I have one question ...
    What if your subject is a bit older. A few wrinkles, the bags are a little more pronounced. It's something that I think every content creator overlooks, because we only seem to be shooting models these days!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Daniel! Thanks so much, appreciate it! Great point. Funny enough, I think I take more headshots of older realtors rather than younger, and feel like everyone else shoots models, haha so I get you! I try to soften everything and reduce the bags under their eyes, but not overdo it. Still looks like them but nicely retouched. Also it’s really beneficial to add a white bounce on the opposite side of your key light aiming up to light the bottom shadow side of their neck and look as flattering as possible. Thanks for watching!
