It's certainly wide enough. I'd do both tho because I've the inside ones welded straight to the un across the back wall. I'm losing a couple inches of leg room. If the sliders are welded really well to the frame or if you did the b pillars behind the cab it might work too 🤷🏻

Dey ice works great to help get rid of that sealer/sound deadner. Let it freeze and it just chips off
