Hi, I'm Handi. I go by handi as a playful joke on the fact that I'm a streamer with a physical disability called arthrogryposis (feel free to ask questions in chat or in comments!). I'm mainly a Speedrunner who runs RPGs such as Chrono Cross (9th in the world currently) and Final Fantasy games. Quick Tip Summaries
#1 - Hold X when entering towns to enter quickly
#2 - When approaching doors hold L1 while mashing X or holding O
#3 - Change to dynamic camera in battle for consistent input
#4 - When attacks are interrupted by enemy attack animation, hold O to cancel the running back animation
#5 - Hold O during battle dialogue (such a Solt and Peppor) to skip through it quickly
#6 - Buffs (i.e. Strengthen or Eagle Eye) always targets your middle character
#7 - Practice five battles: Dario, Miguel, Gurai, Dragon God, Torasoid
#8 - Use d-pad in some rooms to get around faster and easier (i.e. holding up to go forward or down to go backward)
#9 - Changing party order affects the order you select then in the menu and target them in battle
#10 - Organize your menus, especially with elements

I'm a huge CC fan (that doesn't typically follow this games speedrunning community) and I just got this in my recommended.
I think that more speedrunning communities should make videos like this (even if this info is already in a google doc or discord somewhere) because youtube has a larger reach and might get more casual fans into speedrunning/watching it. I think it was a great idea for you to make this video! Great job with the execution and editing!

For the remaster I still didn't Cuscus farm elements but unlike the PS1 version with ALL the cheats turned on the game is beatable in around 10 to 15 hours on a FIRST run the 1999 PS1 version takes at least double that and 20 to 25 hours.

I just did a 10 hour, which was at least 4x faster than when I originally played the game. Thanks for the tips!

@@SuperHandi I had crazy luck. 18str by viper manor! && Apparently the +5 Str item you steal from that dinosaur is also a rare drop from those jet airplanes in the sea of eden. So I had 2 of them, lol

Yeah, I have been told. I sometimes catch myself talking to fast. It's deff a thing i've tried to work on while improving my commentary skills for marathons/races etc haha

Just wait its best to speed run on NG+ runs since on a 1st run the earlier bosses won't die IN 1 hit and due to being able to 3x speed the game on NG+ runs normal battles on NG+ runs will NOT be worth fighting besides the ones to fight the 1st boss of the game.
So a first run took me AT least 20 hours the NG+ runs around 10.
For Dario I'll NEVER fight HIM without the Stolen Black Plate equipped to Lynx I'll NEVER fight him as Serge.
