Thanks for this video. I have the dual core radiator that came with some low CFM fans. They max out at 1850 CFM. I am definitely going to give these a try. I had to go back with my mechanical fan, because the ones that came with the radiator and shroud would not keep my engine below 210 degrees F. Hopefully these do the trick, again thanks!
When using an anemometer, put it in front of the radiator, right up against it. What matters is, how much air is going through the radiator. That is the only number that really counts.
Hey do you have a link or any information about the radiator set up you have in there? Have a 3rd gen myself wjth mechanical fan and always have overheating issues, so looking to upgrade, thanks for the videos 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you. I believe it was this one amzn.to/4cYuufE But then you will want to upgrade fans also. So after the radiator and fans you will be at like 500 for them. Or you might check out this one. Seems nice and has bigger fans. ecp-radiator.com/products/1982-1992-hd-3rd-gen-camaro-upgraded-aluminum-radiator-dual-hd-fans?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiMmwBhDmARIsABeQ7xSXH1dZIbL3QjYfHh_PmreqjFtLGb2q5LBKQPBQv_y57QvZaCATQbQaAqtOEALw_wcB
@@TonyTheTechnician just got the new ones in the mail. Got a set of mishimoto raceline 2000cfm fans. Probably install them tomorrow afternoon since i have morning shift. And ill have more time to get them done. A carbon copy of the spals you installed.
@@TonyTheTechnician yea already pulled out the radiator and installed the new fan on it. Had to drill new holes but no biggie.tomorrow i can just drop her in and finish the install.

Thanks so much for getting back to me, how much of a difference in temp have to noticed running these new fans over the old ones?
@stevedorsey6911 no problem at all, I would say 15 to 20 degrees.
What type of seats are those? There pretty nice.
Corbeau rrx 👍
How did the temperature do while driving with the new fans.
So so much better. Hasn't gone over 188 usually sits around 178 to 180
@@TonyTheTechnician Thanks I am thinking of using those fans on my C3 and taking off the flex fan.
What kind of temps are you getting after the fan swap?
185 to 190 but I'm waiting for warmer weather
So at least 4 times the air flow? Was I reading that right?
Ya from those readings that would be about right.
Whats the amp draw on each fan?
Spal $$$
Ya not cheap but definitely worth it!! Made a huge difference
@@TonyTheTechnician link?

Btw the Chinese fans cant keep up with a modded v6 either lol
Lol that doesn't surprise me. As soon as I replaced mine it made a huge difference. Did you replace yours?
