I'm actually been enjoying you working on the engines and going slower. Lately I've been finding you videos very disconnected from the content so these have been a nice change of pace
Well said, I was hoping he would get back in touch with his roots and make some videos of him turning wrenches and explaining the builds rather video after video of just drift racing which don't get me wrong is great but is videos like this and ones like I just described that got me hooked to begin with. I've been here since the BMX days and have the upmost respect for Adam, how far he's come and the amazing life he built for himself.

Fully agree with your statement. “Disconnected” is a good word for it. A lot of his newer videos are a bunch of ‘we did this and this and this and this and this’… and so what? Much prefer watching videos like this one - we did this one thing and here’s some insightful info.
I will say,I really like seeing YOU work on your motors. Leave the S15 work to your team and you get your hands dirty again like before you had the shop and mainly worked out of the garage at the house.

About time the VE got some love from a TH-camr. I have 2 VE engines both were SR16VE's, one normal and one N1. Stroked to 2 litre now with a load of other mods built them nearly 10 years ago now (damn that makes me feel old). Good luck with the build, that VE goodness has got you another subscriber already.
I like watching the work on cars. I do most of my work myself lol because i have too. 🤣🤣. So seeing the intricate parts and how it’s going together is awesome!!! I recently got a 335i sedan 6 speed and can’t wait to start doing mods to it. Love your 335i single turbo!!!

Been waiting on a vvl build since I started watching 5+ years ago. Fwd sr20's are what got me into cars WAYYYYYY back in 04. Vvl's were the Pinnacle 👌
Pinnacle is the SR20VET from the X-Trail GT. Only one that has VVL and also factory turbo. 👍

my base impreza has vvl stock but definitely for fuel economy and not performance but i feel it when the valves fully open that's cool thought most engines used vvt or vct

Assembling an engine is quick and easy, building one takes time. Doing all the mods yourself, takes a VERY long time!
