Hey, Just a bit of info on that freezer and fridge. its a vapor seal to keep out unwanted moisture and ice. Be Careful Opening it while it is on the seal cycle, it can tear the seal and will ruin the motor by making it constantly run. Those seals are not cheap either. Cant Wait to see what you all accomplish in the new space.

I can confirm. We have a subzero fridge and at one point the seal on the freezer side was damaged and it was pretty costly to get replaced. Also im not sure if the big standalone units that it looks like they have can have the doors mirrored, but if they can the 2 units could be swapped with eachother and have the doors mirrored to accommodate preference.
Isn't it just the temperature of the volume of air in the freezer that drops when closing the freezer --> volume of air gets smaller --> vacuum

What I'm surprised about, unless there was constant security, it wasn't trashed or things stolen having sat for years. Of course I live in crappy CA where that runs rampant.

built in 02 but they sure loved wood when it got built.
Well it's obvious it is built to last and with high quality materials. But the styling I cannot see young ppl being happy with. But with some adjustments it'll be a lot less old man cabin. For instance the tv wall. Put new flat gripless doors without woodworking on it and maybe redo a bit on the layout to fit your taste and needs. Paint it white or have it sanded back to bare wood and then white wash stained or a light shade of grey and you're back in 2021.
I like that the corvette is outside while there are like 5 billion indoor parking spotts.

The house is period correct for most of his 90s cars. The creme S13 must feel right at home in the compound. That place is amazing!

Dude that house is so nice. I usually hate older looking houses, inside and out, but the inside of that house is beautiful. I probably wouldn’t change a thing.
All the neat stuff around the compound like the shutters and lifts, the paint booth, sand blaster room, it’s just got everything AND more. Everything is spot on. Pretty much all the building even have AC right?

Fun fact of the day @23:58 That's a chandelier lift motor mounted to the wall behind Adam. It's used so you can bring a heavy light (more then likely the chandelier in the entryway) down from a hi ceiling to clean it and then wench it back up into place without a latter or tools.👍👍😎

As someone who grew up on the Florida coast I'll say that house is epic 90's FL vibes. Our house was the same square blocky bland architecture and everything was green and pink back then.

Pretty common on most diesel engines..
Diesels need a turbo. Otherwise they're boat anchors. My 12 valve makes 75hp without a turbo. It makes 215hp with a stock turbo and it makes 500hp with my current turbo

With the sub zero fridge/ freezer you can change them to have whichever one you want, so could switch them around or have 2 fridges or 2 freezers if you wanted, also they vacuum seal to keep the food fresher for longer!

That little generator is pretty cool. The tramont next to it is the fuel tank. We have the same one at my work. If you guys have a Gentec out there have them come out and service it. Should also load test it to make sure it will support whatever load you're wanting to support.

Matt talked about it very briefly in a wash and talk before the launch so he couldn't give any details but you could tell he is really excited about helping Adam get set up.

With the Fridge/Freezer, you might be able to change the temp. to make them both fridges when you have parties, also have the freezer on the left or right. Check to see how low each unit will go down too.. With how things work, check them manufactures online manuals.

Hey @Adam LZ ! I believe the generator in the beginning of the video has a John Deere engine. I am John deere technician and I'm pretty confident that would be the 8.1 liter. If the engine tag has 6081 on it that would stand for 6 cylinder and 8.1 liter. They can be a pain to bleed the fuel system so if you need any help let me know!

You can swap the fridge and freezer round.
They look the same size & most doors on fridges and freezers can be hung both ways. Just swap them round and reposition the hinges on the doors on the other sides.
