The people who are committing the violence and looting and destruction do not care about Mr. Floyd and are not the ones wanting justice and peace. Kind words from the heart but misled. This is a time for making those that CHOOSE not to listen and to CHOOSE to focus on the looting versus the killing to listen to the ignored. We cannot just look at this in a broad view to be fair on all sides. It does no good to our black brothers and sisters and no good to advancement of white people to move forward from racism. POC deserve justice and not to ask them to shut up or stop feeling fed up when wronged and then offer no systemic change but bread crumbs. If you were being strangled by someone aggressively you shouldn't be judged to clawing your way out desperately. Not saying you're thinking that but I think we need more than prayer and love. Love involves understanding, universal empathy not selective and listening to them but let's be fair, black/brown people are ignored. White people are given more than prayer and I think we need to be equitable to the neglected in our society. You have a warm heart, but I wanted to mention this part cuz a lot of us are leaning on that strength that love/prayer brings but we do need more for this situation.
