I'm supposed to be restoring a dresser today...but I've spent all day watching your videos instead, you are truly impressive and I learn a lot from you, thank you. Oh and I'm retired so I'll just do the dresser later.
Ross, this one reminds me of a jigsaw puzzle. Once again your vision paid off and the work came out beautifully. Where did you find this piece originally? You have a very good eye for picking things that most people would pass by. Great job.
How did you get the random orbit sander to strip so quickly? Even with an 80 grit, I usually have to hold it there for a while. Do you press down on it?
in most cases it is easy to tell where most parts go , most times locations on a period piece of furniture where it is more critical to put things back where they were( especially hinges and screws ) .
Ross that is what I like about your videos..you take the crappiest piece you can find and make it into something beautiful.

I have a very similar side by side. Some of the carvings are missing. Can I buy carvings somewhere?
