Yes, he broke the World record for his first Olympic gold but to return 4 years later,, having had knee surgery less than 1 year before, and win with style, is incredibly inspiring. Whenever I start to doubt myself, if I can reach my next goal, I only have to think of this incredible athlete and go for it.

My best PR for the 800 meters is a 1:48.96 on the collegiate scene to finish second in the NCAA Track & Field Championships. I cannot image running a 1:42.15 time!!

That Algerian guy really did well. Started slow then conquered everyone and came second.
He did a great job running more even splits. A not so usual strategy in the 800. Borzakovsky and Symmonds used it as well
