The sound and bass coming out of JBL Partybox 100 at 2:46 is just amazing and unbelievable. I am using a Xiaomi Air Capsule earphones (one of the best sounding in-ear earphones, but not into production anymore) and I can feel the bass on my chest and on my head, not just in the ear.

@Theory 09 JBL is way better by far, The JBL Xtreme 2 has better treble and JBL Connect plus is way way better than sonys party chain, I'll only give props to Sony for including it on their bigger speakers like the xb60 and 90 too.

I had the opportunity to compare at the store. Same result, the Sony is behind. The JBL is more heavy it gives probably an indication of the magnet 🧲. I think I will buy a second one...

I was almost gonna get the Sony just because it's slightly cheaper but decided to check out a review before. Glad I did Sony sounds muffled like it's being smothered by a pillow. I'll stick with JBL, thanks for the video!

Great reviews mate. I have the XB60, and when I use the Sony App, and make some changes with my iPad’s music EQ settings, I get some nice sound/bass. Also, things vary depending on the quality of the audio file you stream to the speaker. Overall, I am happy with my XB60.

The first party speaker I owned was the Gtk xb60. I wasn't aware that Jbl made party speakers so I got the 100 and It was a rock slide of a difference. Now I got the 300 and wanna compare them but the sony to a friend sadly, oh well
As a Sony fan soon to be a proud XB43 owner I have to agree this here showed crisper sound in the JBL not as much bass as the Sony but the Sony really didn't come to the party with the overall sound bass is important but we also want to hear the song too.

The partybox has real bass with like a depth charger port. Will make the room shake. I have the 300 and it really gives a great sound with controlled bass
Can you give me some input on sound between the 300 and the 100 overall volume and do either drop off big time in sound when unplugged?? For me it comes down to the 100the 300 or the 310 but I also keep lookin at the aiwa exos 9 for fact it always runs 200 watts whether plugged in or not
@@wadec6799 i have the 300 and there’s a pretty big difference between battery and ac mode, it goes from 120w on battery to 240w when plugged in
@@Brenton-xc2fg I read that I was kinda worried bout that with the 110 and its Def noticeable but not super noticeable but I had a Harmon kardon onyx studio 6 and for size of it plugged in it was impressive but unplugged I didn't like it at all
Why does it feel like the xb60 is a just a woofer type(like it doesn't go as low as the pb100).
Its feels like comparing woofers with tweeters to a subwoofer stereo setup

JBL has been winning the speaker battles lately but Sony is making a comeback with there new portable speakers that actually have tweeters!! Not to mention Sony headphones are the best
Yeah I use to be nothing but JBL with headphones but Sony sport headphones never broke or failed me even dropped 40lb db on them.
what was sony thinking making the GTK XB60 with such an awful sound profile. i couldnt even watch the battle to the end coz the only thing remaining for GTK XB60 to do was to burst into flames as the JBL's beautiful sound was about to set the sony on fire. The GTK XB60(awful name by the way) almost ruptured my headphones at full volume which further prooves how bad the sound output is. do i need to say more? @DLX Willington another amazing video as always bro.🙌👏

um if you dont have the speaker than you can be quiet. yes i agree that jbl has some deeper elements SOMETIMES! but the GTK XB60 has base like a beast. when i put it on a soccerfield all of the rubber shake and you feel the base in your chest.. but you cannot be so sure by watching a simple video.. go and test one in real life and then you will understand

I own a xb60 and even with the equalizer options it provides, it sounds very underwhelming. Kinda embarrassing to be honest. It gets loud but it's a weak loud.

Man! I want partybox 100 now. The size is so right for my studio type apartment. I have Sony speaker with CD player it’s bigger size compare to to these speaker, I like the sound quality of it but my only problem is that I can only use if connected to power outlet. I saw partybox 1000 I thought it’s cool except for the size and that leads me to other partybox version like 100, 200, 300. I only hope that the led lights to partybox 100 is just like in the lights in partybox 1000. It could be a good version isn’t?

Does the Sony support equalizer sound profiles through the app like some of their other options? The signature really sounds like some other Sony speakers I've heard, but when using the 'rock' profile it sounds better and you'll have more treble and thus more detail in the bass (since there's less lows that drown the bass).
None of them change the sound too much, and custom eq disables extra bass which makes it sound really thin

I had the xb90 and am getting the pb 300 in a few days. I have heard both and hear is what I can say Xb 90-louder but lacks quality and rly lacks anything under 65 hertz where the drop off is Partybox 300- rly good quality and clear has way better bass and hits anything down to 40-45 hertz rly well will actually shake house while xb 90 will just have hard hitting high bass but partybox doesn’t get as loud with mids and highs but I the bass definitely makes up for it especially with the first bass boost. Jbl 100% wins
I think it's gonna be tough for any company to beat Jbl's partybox 100 in particular... The price and what you get is value for money... You will never regret buying it ..

sony was once the best brand out there along with kenwood ... now or kenwood no longer manufactures cases but manufactures blenders and sony seems to have even gone BACK with the audio quality and has been overcome by jbl ...
Sony would rather focus on there headphone and HiFi equipment.
Sony is still best in audio quality as compare to jbl.. but their blutooth speaker department is struggling. Sony is better in small size speaker like srs xb30 and srs xb20.. these are best in this price range. Their TV speakers is still sounds great..

I was looking to buy them, as I am an advocate of the XB30.. I thought maybe the XB60 would be twice the sound, being more than twice the size, but I guess Sony slacked off on this one.

Sony xb60 sounds surprisingly good with secret bass mode (hold stamina + extra bass for 6 seconds)
I can confirm that this is not true after testing it with 2 GTK XB60's.
JBL Bass Tester I mean the jbl sounds better but there definitely is a secret bass mode I use it on my 90.

I‘m not a big JBL-fan generally. But this is night and day. Huge difference in sound despite both are very similar in size and weight. I don’t like this JBL-sound signature, i like it pure and more natural. But this thing makes what is named for: PARTY 🥳

DlX Willington try to do this on xb60 turn off extra bass and stamina mode and then hold extra bass + stamina button it should change in audio its like lfm on jbl but it doesn't distort
