Hello, the Pioneer is better than the Sony, the Pioneer is excellent in quality of materials compared to the other brands in the market and also has excellent audio quality, that if you buy it you see thinking of a site since it weighs 18 Kg haha , I highly recommend it.
A recommendation I give you if you buy it:
If you get it and want better sound and power, do this:
You can cancel the upper limit setting for the volume when playing music. When you cancel the upper limit for the volume, the maximum volume increases from 45 to 50 and its sound is more powerful, bringing the amplifier to the maximum it offers. • This function is available after the firmware update and on devices with new firmware installed during manufacturing. If the operation is not possible, see Firmware update (p31) to update the firmware.
1. Press the INPUT button several times until the "AUX" LED turns on and change the input source to "AUX".
2. Press and hold the INPUT button for approximately 3 seconds to cancel the setting. When the setting is canceled, the front panel illumination LED blinks red twice. When you press and hold the INPUT button again for approximately 3 seconds, the front panel illumination LED blinks blue twice and the volume limit is enabled. • The volume setting can still be set between 46 and 50 when the Volume Limit is enabled, but the volume output remains at 45.
This can be found in the instruction manual and also on how to update the firmware.

Can these two be combined with party chain? I have that Sony but been thinking to buy that Pioneer for second one, because it has party chain too if I understanded correctly.
Hello, this Pioneer can be connected without problems with a Sony via RCA.I connect my Pioneer with my old Sony GTK-X1BT through RCA and without problems.

Hola Alex,es cierto este Sony es muy buen altavoz y cuando lo compré en el año 2014 me encantó el diseño pero ahora me decidí por otra marca de mejor calidad de audio que es el Pioneer que es una pasada.
Disfruta del Sony que es un altavoz muy bueno.

@@pitiiihtc Hola,no te puede decir mucho ya que no he tenido la oportunidad de escucha el Ibiza pero viendo las especificaciones están bastante bien pero comparado a otras marcas más caras como Pioneer,el Ibiza deja mucho que desear en cuanto a potencia como calidad de audio.Eso si es más portable el Ibiza ya que lleva ruedas y encima bataria ya que el Pioneer tiene que estar conectado a la corriente y encima pesa 18 Kg.
Mi experiencia ha sido que yo antes tenía EL Boombox de Sony el GTK-X1BT que es una pasada pero en cuanto a calidad de audio era muy bueno pero cuando me compre el Pioneer es otro mundo.

@@_predatorbass_6364 me imagino que sea mejor en calidad de audio pero mi intención es tener uno barrato y que sea sobre todo potente para llevarlo a dar clases de zumba en polideportivos , salas , aire libre etc . Y me preocupa sobre todo potencia , resistente , duradero , un todo terreno en resumidas cuentas
@@pitiiihtc Pues entonces el Pioneer descartado porque si es muy bueno pero pesa mucho para transportarlo y es un poco caro y tal porque 18 Kg...,a ti te vendría bien el Sony GTK-X1BT que es muy bueno para fiestas porque suena descumunal y lo pones al max y sin distorsión conectas el blutooth o usb y listo pero el problema que ya no lo fabrican entonces las caracteristicas que me dices tu yo te aconsejaría el Lg FH6 de 600w que suena que flipas te lo puedo decir porque lo he escuchado en una fiesta de amigos y esta a 229€ he visto en alcampo y tiene de todo blutooth usb mic fm,es muy parecido al que tengo el Sony pero de Lg.
Yo pienso que te va a servir muy bien ya que es para fiestas a tope y a bailar y el Lg pesa menos que el Pioneer.

Hello Hafiza, both teams sound very good but for me the Pioneer has much more sound quality and also quality of materials, the bass is different, the Sony has a drier but powerful bass while the Pioneer has a deeper bass that makes it vibrate everything!!

Hi man ^^ i think the Pioneer is the best ......you can read my comment for more détails, the SONY GTK-X1BT ? I got it one ^^ i can tell exatly the sound quality ^^ and i think for a private fest ? Buy 2 SONY GTK-X1BT and you're having an AWESOME and POWEFULL sound system ^^ but i think the pioneer is more professional ^^
For outdoor party which one loud and good bass
Hello, regarding the bass they are different between these two teams, the Sony has a drier bass between 45 Hz and 90 Hz while the Pioneer bass is deeper between 35 Hz and 90 Hz. For the outdoors I think the Sony would be heard more because it uses higher frequencies but in clarity of sound the Pioneer is much better

I also had problems but because I didn't know how to match it well.
The only thing that occurs to me to try is:
1st: Select the Bluetooth function (the blue light will flash slowly)
2nd: Press and hold the input button until the blue light flashes faster (pairing mode)
3rd: Activate the Bluetooth function of the mobile and look for the Pioneer Club 5 speaker.

Hola Diego, es cierto en cuanto a calidad de sonido el Pioneer es muy superior su rango de frecuencia es más amplio reproduce de 35 Hz - 20 Khz mientras que el Sony su rango de frecuencia es de 45 Hz - 18 Khz, además de que la calidad de construcción no se pueden comparar.
Lo bueno del Sony es que es menos pesado pesa 14 Kg en comparación al Pioneer que pesa 18 Kg.
En este video se puede apreciar mejor la diferencia de sonido (40% y a 85%) y sus especificaciones entre ambos aunque no es igual que en directo:

The Sony can actually sound better with RnB or Rock preset ran through a mixer (I use an AltoZMX122fx). I usually run them through the rca out and I sometimes put it in the Monitor out together with my Alto Trouper for highs. When I use it with the Alto, I set it on R&B.

But he don't be designed ! He's not having ANY DESING ^^ With that !? I think the sound is more correctly played !? All the ddvices into the woofer arent more working because he having SCARE desing ! More like PROFESSIONAL WOOFER !?!?!? Into ennormous music show and other professional places ? You're not seeing beautifull and woofer with that awesome desing like the GTK-X1BT !? I have it !? The SONY GTK-X1BT !? But i think the Pioneer is better ^^ he's looking like more professional ^^ I think the SONY WOOFER is there more for private festing.....into an home ? If you're having only 2 GTK-X1BT !? Now ? By Bluetooth you can control and tranfer the sound to the 2 WOOFER at the same moment ! Only 2 woofer's making 1000W RMS ! It's prefect for private fest into an home ^^

Sony es mejor y puede reproducir mejor cualquier tipo de música.
Mayor potencia. Además la reproducción de este video no ayuda mucho.
Tiene mala calidad este video, ubica el micro por todos lados.
Actualmente son pocos los sony que mantienen su calidad, en su linea de parlantes portatiles es una lagrima, la calidad es muy pauperrima de casi todos los modelos de parlantes portatiles, emiten bajos secos con poco brillo, lo único bueno son sus funciones; para los sony antiguos y su linea hi fi actual mis respetos. En este caso entre los dos del video el pioneer es muy superior en todo, incluso hasta en materiales y ensamblaje de la caja.
