Just found your channel and love the challenges you’re doing. While this will probably make the run a lot harder there is a way to beat world 1 without damage. The answer is to skip world 1. What you have to do is clip oob in the hub on a corner near the entrance to world 2. It’s a bit tricky but it is used in speedruns of the game. I can’t wait to see where this challenge goes in the future!

There’s actually an trick on how enemies attack after they spawn. If they show their ears but don’t spawn they will spawn and move the next turn. But if they spawn without an warning they will not move

Yeah, this game is pretty underrated. I've seen a couple other challenges done on this game too. There was one where someone didn't use primary weapons, but I can't remember any others off the top of my head.
I’m genuinely surprised you were able to beat the world 2 final boss only one hit, I have been trying to beat this game damageless for the past few days and I’m as far as the final boss of world 2 and I just couldn’t seem to get around the boss without getting blasted. I did come to the dilemma of my sentrys blowing up too early, I’m gonna go try this boss again, and hopefully this boss can be done damageless. It would have been a lot easier if Luigi wasn’t replaced tho
Have you beaten the world one midboss and boss without taking damage? I've heard that there's a glitch to skip world 1 so I think it's possible. As far as I know, you're at least forced to get hit by the shockwave at the start of the rabbid kong fight if you don't skip him. If you manage to beat the world 2 boss damageless that would be incredible. And yeah, I definitely know the pain of losing Luigi here. Good luck!
@@BarelyAlec well I’m only coming back to this challenge after only starting it like last year, when I came back to it last week I was already at world 2 so I can’t remember if I did end up beating world 1 damageless but if I’m able to beat the whole game damageless then I will go back and try world 1 again just to double check if it’s possible damageless. I was originally more afraid of mid bosses in this challenge than the big bosses because they are normally way faster and typically use explosive related weapons but I completely forgot the icicle golem had one of those as well. I’m still not even hopeful that world 3 will be a breeze. If I remember correctly there’s a lot of grenade users in that world so that will definitely be an interesting challenge if I manage to even get there lol
Gotcha. I'm going to retry the midboss in world 1 once I finish the rest of the game because I had to take 2 hits from him before, but some comments have pointed out potential strategies to beat him that I didn't know about when originally attempting it. I'm worried about world 3 also. I haven't started it yet, but will soon.

Fun fact rabbit luigis rocket has one tile longer range than the boss meaning you can take as long as you want for phase3 And enemys only spawn when new phases start minus when you dash the head
The strategy that someone else found to beat this fight damageless requires a sentry, but those are cool tricks! I used the last phase not respawning enemies to my advantage here

At 7:30 I said, "The Midboss in this world is actually 2 separate midbosses, and to make things even worse for me there are also 3 Ziggys." I wasn't sure if rabbid Mario would come in handy either, but his great offense sometimes helps.
I've considered making a patreon for a while now since I figure that I'll make one eventually anyway, so it might as well be up sooner rather than later. That being said, I've been too lazy to make it. So knowing that someone would actually donate is a huge motivation. I don't remember if I did anything special. My best guess is that I upgraded peach's movement. I think you can upgrade her skills but not weapons at this point.

@@theultimateinksack5825 I get that. I have trouble faking enthusiasm during narration even for challenges I think are interesting. I'm going to try to be better about it, but I also don't think I'll ever be super high energy. I prefer videos where people don't scream and overreact so that's what I'm going to keep making.
