Update: It looks like you aren't forced to use Rabbid Peach vs. the Icicle Golem - just regular Peach!
A helpful tip: Peach will automatically replace whoever is in the 3rd party slot for this fight. So put one of your better characters in the 2nd slot to avoid them being forcibly removed.

You're not actually forced into Rabbid Peach for Icicle Golem. You are forced to use Mario and Peach, but you can use any of the Rabbids as your second character.
I used mario and rabbid mario
I recommend Rabbid Peach, since Rabbid Luigi could be used for the other enemies apart from the boss, but is generally useless. If you're with Rabbid Mario, it's harder to get that golden medal since he's made for close range and, well Peach doesn't have the best heal at the start

@@Chickenanndo Rabbid mario is cracked, tank the boss' sight with peach, them move them both in and melee with rabbid mario and use the boom gun with peach, he will get shredded to pieces

Also, Rabid Mario can make quick work of Mecha Junior's pre -battle
I was sleeping on Rabid Mario until I paired up his melee with Yoshi's crit and Marios M power for over 1.5k damage per turn lol.

Tip for Phantom. When you distroy the spotlight, he will move to the center. You can use hero sight to hit him
11:08 alternative strategy :
Team : rabbid Mario and Luigi
Actions : first turn M-power and itchy feet followed by rabbid Mario boom dashing the two bucklers in the center using magnet dance to pull in the supporter and then you hammer the supporter destroying him and the two bucklers in 1 turn with Mario's and Luigi's movement and weapons (with M-power still active) still available you use those two to k.o. the two remaining bucklers (make sure you dash them first) and with enough luck you can reach your damage peak and destroy the remaining enemies in one turn and without taking any damage
I was fighting against Bwario and Bwaluigi, when Bwaluigi straight up killed Bwario

Man, all these years later, and I'm still a little bummed that the DLC never got any coverage on this channel. Donkey Kong and Rabbid Kranky are probably my two favorite playables in the game, with my favorite duo still being that elusive multi-player only Peach/Luigi. Getting a massive AOE with a free freeze on every team jump is amazing, Kranky has Vamp on what is basically a Boomshot, and despite having kinda lame effects, I found DKs pickup and throw mechanics in place of dashes and team jumps more than enough to make up for it.
I remember beating the final boss here with the original 3 (mario, rabbid peach, and rabbid luigi). Both mario and rabbid peach were down, Rabbid Luigi was on 16 health, and I managed to get the final shot in and win. I was so happy that the date and time was forever engraved into my mind. Monday, April 16th, 2018 at 7:56 PM.

That feeling when Waluigi still doesn't appear in a non-party game...but someone dressed up as him does.
Against Rabbid Kong, it was a Sentry that made me work out about the button. Because it is immune to Bounce. I didn't know about the big blocks (or I forgot). A Sentry is what pressed the button two times because it moves at the start of my turn, essentially that if it presses the button nobody is in melee range to get hit. Trivialising it.
But the most hilarious thing was when the Smasher showed up. Luigi has the Spike Strike. Shot it, and it bounced away and ran forward...momentarily I heard the button click but since it wasn't stopped on it, it didn't trigger. So I activated Luigi's ability and got everyone closer to the boss. When the Smasher moved, Luigi shot it and bounced it OUT OF BOUNDS. It spawned back in...on top of the button and that was all it took. We closed in, powered up and defeated it that very turn.

Rabbid luigi can honestly be your only healer for minibosses. Upgrading his dash enough you can sustain glass cannons easily. He really should've been later on in the game because honestly he's sh** until you get a decent amount of orbs. Pretty much everyone (including myself) benched himas soon as luigi appeared, but I actually really liked him when i tried him again later.

BTW Mecha jr. can be defeated in one turn if you have maxed out the amount of times steely stare and hero sight can shot get decent weapons and upgrade damage. You can pull this off by activating hero sight and steely stare shoot him with rabbid yoshi and when he moves mario and luigi can take care of him, if he doesn't die hit him with the precision or sentry and blaster. I hope you like this strategy and like this comment

Yeah but Megadragonbowser refills his health for each phase. Since there is 3 phases. he actually has 4800 hp
Shane Saltus I always do it in 2 with this same strategy. Probably my fault because I do this on round 2. Great advice though

for rabid Kong, a sentry can activate the button, but it won't attack him. This can help keep everyone safe.
A sentry actually can attack him if you use one you get in the late game. And you can actually fully deplete his health since he has such low HP. I've beaten Rabbid Kong in 1 Turn with Mario, Rabbid Peach and Luigi thanks to the washing machine.

12:00 you could do the boss in 2 turns by using Luigi, Rabbid Peach and Mario, and power up Mario’s Attack boost technique to the max. Also, upgrade Luigi’s steele stare to 70% damage, 3x shot chance and 1 turn waiting time. Do this with mario’s varient of steely stare too
Is just that Easy,I literally use the ping pong Ball Strat and Use Rabbid Mario to distract him

3:25 you can use sentries to step on the pad for you to NOT need to go close
The only boss I have yet to get a gold for is Mega Dragon Bowser at the end. Seven turns to deal with three phases is definitely pushing it.
Rabbid Mario and Yoshi could help out.
@@gerragotheallidile Yoshi is definitely helpful for that battle. You use his ability to guarantee status effects, and his flutter jump ground pound.

You aren't forced in to using Rabbid Peach and Peach. Peach just replaces whoever was in your 3rd character slot.
Or, if you have Luigi and a rabbis in the third slot, it will replace luigi

Rabbid Mario is pretty good for these fights.
My tactic for rabbid Kong was to bounce enemies to the banana platform lol. not as controllable as using sentry but it works. Got gold trophy the first try👌

The small puns under each Boss Intro scene made me think that some of them will end up in smash
For the first section of Mecha Jr., I found another method easier. Use Rabbid Mario and double Boom-dash. Then use magnet dance and hammer. Clean up with Luigi and Mario.

Finally with the mario bros on opposite ends of the stage with fully upgraded hero sight and steely stare I activated them both and hit jr once and decided to launch the most entertaining game of ping pong ever

Funny thing that happened to me for the final boss. It actually was friendly fire, not for my teammates, but from one of the enemys there. Basically it was the one with the sheld and boomshot, it fired at either rabbid luigi or peach and it ended up hitting the final boss and yeah- I just found that funny
one very interesting tip with bowser during his flying phase e move a the beggining of this phase and so can be touch by the super sight of the mario caractere
man didn't think this guide would be even more comprehensive but it is so thanks for your work must have taken awhile

You can also beat MegadragonBowser before you get the most powerful weapons. The best comp for this is: Mario (Peaper reaper (melee), Sons of Bwahnarchy (blaster), maxed out stomp, maxed out m-power and hero sight), Rabbid Mario (bat out of heck (melee), sunflower power (boomshot), maxed out boomdash and damage output) and Luigi (a slay at the beach (sentry), lil' tikes load and go (precision), maxed out steely stare).

Actually, this isn't true. You're forced into a team with Mario, Peach, and whatever Rabbid hero you have. That cutscene specially plays if you have rabbid peach.

The way I got gold in Mecha Juniors fight was M-Power, 3x Steely Stare, Use Rabbid Yoshi to tank and distract because of his awesome range and abilities. I call it the luigi maneuver. BOOM! Junior just lost half health in first turn.
For the first boss battle use a hero with a bomb/turret car thingy and it goes to the Kong’s banana supply and drops it really good tactic

It took me 17 turns to beat MegaDragonBowser for the first time. And I'm not ashamed. Im this young and beat this game
I'm still developing a strategy for the final boss, because I never beat Megadragonbowser somehow, but here's what I have so far.
Mario and Yoshi activate M-Power and Super Chance to deal maximum damage, with the right characters, you can take out his first phase on turn one.
Then I try to take out as many enemies as Rabbid (not sure yet, I'll edit when i find out who can take out enemies easiest. Maybe R. Mario, but idk) while Mario and Yoshi take care of Bowser.
Here’s what I did for the bosses (this was my very 1st one of my many runs of this game):
Pirabbid Plant: go up the middle with Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Peach for maximum damage on pirabbid plant and activate both shields. Have Mario near where he can hit the plant but also where he can’t hit you. It took me 2 or 3 turns.
Rabbid Kong: I used Mario Rabbid Luigi and Luigi. Luigi’s sentry really helps on this one but my hard point was keeping Luigi alive cause no healing except vamp dash.
Blizzy and Sandy: Defeat Blizzy on Turn 1. Then use the sentry to trigger the villain sight and beat sandy. I used Rabbid Luigi and Luigi (Rabbid Luigi is my favorite character in the game)
Icicle Golem: I used Rabbid Mario instead of Rabbid Peach. Immediately use m power and protection. Rabbid Mario and Mario go in and attack. They’ll be doing the damage that makes it go by quickly.
Calavera: I used Rabbid Mario and Peach. I quickly defeated the 3 enemies in the front the quickly went on to Calavera. It was pretty easy.
Phantom: This one was a hard one. I was normally using Rabbid Mario and Luigi but that didn’t work so I switched to Rabbid Yoshi and Luigi. I did it like JWittz explained it.
Mecha Jr: I used Rabbid Yoshi and Luigi. Instead of making BJ run into his sentry at the beginning, I blew it up with Luigi’s sentry and nothing really changed. I did it in 2 turns.
MegaDragonBowser: I used Rabbid Mario and Yoshi. Turn 1: m power and super chance. Rabbid Mario boom dashes the valkyries, goes to the center, magnet dances the valkyries, and hammers them all (I had stone for Rabbid Mario) and beat phase 1 on turn 1 thanks to Yoshi ground pound. Then on phase 2 I focused on getting bowser and getting behind the black covers. Then on phase 3 I was prepared and completely focused on bowser. I finished it in 6 turns with a super close call with Yoshi at 4 HP.
And that’s it.
Why did that take so long

The issue with the golem fight is you can bring a different Rabbid, but since Peach replaces the third member in your party, and all the original versions other than Mario are in the third slot, it’s impossible to not have a rabbid

i had the most trouble in this game with icicle golem so far because i wasn't smart about using rabbid peach and so i used rabbid mario instead because he has a higher damage number than rabbid peach does but he can't heal himself or other teammates (unless he uses a weapon with the vamp super effect and he is lucky enough for it to go off)

I don't know why, but I won Robo Jr. in the first turn and used it right the way that you said but I didn't know this video existed. Also I beat Bowser in the 2nd turn with 12 turns.
For the Bowser battle, I had Rabbid Luigi and Yoshi for it. All of my attacks were done on the 7th turn and he didn't die. At least not by my hands. One of his minions shot him in the back and ended the fight xD
when i was fighting phantom i teamed jump next to him with his stone ring and it turned me to stone In mid-air it was awesome

Minor correction, when you use the sentry for the first move in the bowser fight, it can only hit bowser or one valkyrie. You don’t get range like that until you beat the bowser fight, which

Mario's Switch games have him fighting bunnies. I just realized that. In this game all the bosses are Rabbids except Jr. and the Megabug (Megadragon Bowser) and in Odyssey 5 of the bosses are rabbits as well.

Against Calavera,my best match was hilarious. Everybody was focused on Mario and Rabbid Mario,but Rabbid Luigi was behind Calavera and he also had a Stone Bworb and it had high chance... It rekt him.
Also for ice golem you can place rabbid peach in 3 place and any character on 2 place
Fun Fact: if you stand on one of the blue platforms the Rabbid Kong isn’t on, you can avoid the shock wave attack completely.

The gold trophy challenges in this so unforgiving. There's no way I'd be able to beat a boss in under 5 turns. Let alone 3 for Mecha Jr..
