    thanks , good video , Do you know if there is any alternative firmware?
    It seems to me that you can get much more out of this hardware, adding graphics for example.

    When the powerbank discharge ends, it continues the test for Test 1 cell if installed. So the reported capacity will be the powerbank plus the test cell. It appears there is a diode on Test 2 USB-C input to ensure a one-way current operation.
    • I am using version 3.0 without the ON/OFF slide switch. They added the function of charging the cell on the left "power supply battery" when 5V is supplied to the left side USB-C. A red indicator shows charging, which goes out when the cell is fully charged.
    • The operation is otherwise similar to 2.0. Unfortunately nothing new was added (I wish for charging to 4.35v or changing current)
    • I hooked the unit up to a fast charge power charger, and it did not turn on higher voltages like 9V or 12V. Only 5V was requested.
    • For either version, it's nice that the cell on the left provides uninterrupted power if the charger power supply is interrupted.
    • What is the character to the right of the loop number? I could not get a translation.

    Hello from Canada.thank you for all your videos.I have a two 24 volt 25 ah reongy lifepo4 battery.which can only be run in parallel not series or I’d have my 48 volts.
    I am looking for a dc to dc booster to turn my 24 v to 48 v.
    from there it feeds into a 48 volt brushless controller.model# 4t48zwsrm-gh04q.
    rated current 9a,maximum current 18+1a,speed limit 1-4.2v,brake input:low level,low voltage protection 40v+0.5v.
    From there feeds into bafang 48 v 500watt hub motor.
    Can you or your viewers please recommend a boost converter to Change battery from 24v to 48 v and that will work safely with the controller and motor.
    I am doing my best to figure it out myself but my brain and math/numbers don’t work so well together.
    My fear is damaging my controller/motor using the wrong converter or it not working properly.
    I have a bpm imports fat tire trike 500 watt 48 volt.
    You can not find these trikes in 500 watt because bpm Canada never got off the ground due to Covid.
    The USA versions come in 750watt and up.
    Thank you again for all your great videos.
    Happy Monday to ya.

      If you buy the newer version 3.0 without the slide switch, it does indeed act as a two-cell charger. However charge data is only reported for the cell in the right bay. The left battery is not tested for discharge.

    Hi, I got this today which I ordered from china after watching your video. Cost me 432 Taka (around 4 USD). But mine is slightly different than yours. There is no on/off switch. And mine is version 1.2, while yours is version 2.0 and the model is mentioned as ZFX-CF2001. Manufacturing date is: 2023.07.24

      Found this on aliexpress: "Power off, then press and hold down the menu key to power on at the same time, release the menu button, at this time, the English interface will be displayed, wait 10 seconds for the system to save, save the data, then shut down and restart, in this way, the switch to English." Worked for me, had the same problem.

    What I did not understand is how to discharge a power bank. More precisely, up to what voltage is the discharge carried out? Does the discharge limit set between 2.5V and 3.5V remain valid for the power bank?

    Question that keeps nagging me so I hope someone answers:
    Lithium-ion charging, it is CC the CV. To do it manually, for a 12v/20Ah, 3s pack, is it as simple as setting AMPs constant to, for example, 3 AMPs then set the voltage to 12v and let it charge to 12v
    then bump up the voltage to 12.2 leave current at 3A and let it charge to 12.2 and
    then bump up the voltage to 12.4 leave current at 3A and let it charge to 12.4 and
    then bump up the voltage to 12.6 lower current to 1A and let it charge to 12.6.
    Would that work? I'm just wondering, can it be done manually if one has a voltage and current adjustable DC power source? There are a lot of chargers on the market that are programmed to do this, but can it be done manually?

    Is there any way to change the current at which this charges batteries or it always tries 1A? Asking because I was wondering if this could be safely used to charge smaller capacity batteries.

    Thanks for your videos...As you showed here the voltage reading drops by 0.3-0.5v when start discharge, and jump up again to the real voltage when stop discharge. (same as in my unit...) I wonder how can we trust the capacity result if it stops discharge at 3.0v on the screen - while the actual battery voltage is 3.3-3.5v?

    • @WattHour
      @WattHour  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      hi, that is normal. we have Open Circuit Voltage which there is no load you will see different volage. When you connect laod you will the voltage drops a littel see more there en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-circuit_voltage . The capacity is measured when there is load and that is measuring actual capacity. My tests showned that Discharge capacity is is accurate with 5%. But this module does NOT show the charge capacity. See the 4 channel th-cam.com/video/7XT6KVoKfW4/w-d-xo.html which is much better.

    Can you hard wire a battery higher than 5v to test it capacity like say a 2, 3 or 4 cell battery.

    • @WattHour
      @WattHour  ปีที่แล้ว

      No you can't.

    • @thisisyourcaptainspeaking2259
      @thisisyourcaptainspeaking2259 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can externally regulate the higher voltage power bank to 5v but in that case the result still will not reflect step-down conversion losses.
