If only that was true. Especially casuals and previous movie orientated channels like these don't have any knowledge of the history of identity politics in video games. The franchise was already infiltrated and changed during the Anita era (2005 tot 2015), and there more games celebrated by casuals like this channel. Who all seem to think it all started when the gaming industry accepted ESG/DEI after Hollywood. An good example of that is God of War 2018, celebrated by all new comers as a game that isn't woke, while they reboot has been censored, hosed and dumbed down due to the pressure of feminist. Casual channels like these are just harmful to gaming as activist are.

Yeah, it already gotten to ridiculous levels when Mass Effect Andromeda released (2017) and they broke all the animations of that game due to a quick 'uglification' patch for release due to outside pressure.
That game confirmed what a lot of people were already saying and for me was the turning point of stopping to buy games with uglified women (as this was the easiest red flag to spot). And the whole gaming scene went downhill ever since, getting more and more garbage in general up to a point I just went to look for other hobbies to spend the money I saved from not buying those games on.
Only recently it has gotten to points where it's so obvious even the normies can't shovel it away anymore with 'Oh, it's not that bad.' or 'It's only a small thing'. Well, that's how slippery slopes work. All those small things add up and soon it's the cliff straight down where we are at now with 'aaa' gaming.
It's finally showing and proving that the gaming community has the power to make or break video games.

The few woke successes are sequels to celebrated franchises, riding on the coat tails of their predecessors. Nothing woke has managed to succeed on its own, and even among the successful examples, they succeeded in spite of the woke, never because of it. NIKKE has made hundreds of millions with a simple gaming loop and the best waifus ever made, imagine what we could have if they took that, made a real single player game ( maybe along the lines of Shining Force, Valkyria Chronicles, Operation Darkness, Ogre Battle, Fire Emblem, Disgaea i dont know just spit balling here).. hell, its production costs would be cheap, and it would sell millions.. or maybe a simple old school shmup like Sengoku Blade, Trouble Shooter/ Battle Mania or Otomedias.. or maybe a fighting game like samsho, kof, etc... again, super cheap production costs and a huge win for people that just dig the good things in games..

If an official responds to every random post, people will perceive the absence of such responds as confirmation - so he just kept silent.
@@HindrancUS If they do respond to every single one, yes. But there's only one. Doing it once would have the opposite effect. It would confirm that there are people pretending to be them, so every new suspicious post would be considered false until proven true. A precedent would be set to ignore anything that you don't fully know if it's true or false. It would become known that "the chuds" create fake accounts to impersonate devs. Even if it only happened once, that one example would be taken by Kotaku as the norm, and used to disregard absolutely any comment that doesn't come from an official source.
If it was a case like Game Science, when they are being accused of misbehaviour with no evidence, you'd be right. Acknowledging the empty attack once means you have to always acknowledge them. But here they wouldn't be acknowledging an attack, but the entity protecting them from impersonation, and with empirical evidence. They wouldn't even need to reply directly, they could just tweet "There are people impersonating us, don't believe anything that doesn't come from official accounts" on a company level, and they wouldn't need to address any similar issue ever again.

Hell, Saints Row reboot was such a flop, that it caused its studio Volition to go bankrupt and shut down back in Sept of 2023 (exactly a year ago). And if thats not enough, the devs of Concord literally took Concord offline a few days ago on Sept 6th due to abysmal player numbers. Same with Dustborn, its all time player peak numbers was literally 83 people, not 8300, not 83,000 not 830,000, but literally 83 people.

Having said that, that still makes them completely worthless as far as being journalists go.
First it was the CEO of Lerian Studios who showed up in plate armor for AD saying F you to the Pay to win and now the CEO of Saber saying F you to woke agenda. the gaming world is in a serious power struggle and gamers are winning.
Asmongold has had many Devs comment on his channel, and literally talk about him in good ways in interviews or podcasts, like fairly recently..Kingdom Come 2. So it wouldn't be strange at all for this dude to comment, especially with as much as Asmon went from initially turned off to the game trailers,to looking forward to it,to playing it and loving and massively praise it.
Creative Director isn’t a writer, its the most senior designer. Writers don’t tend to do mocap sessions.
It doesn't matter if the CEO has another TH-cam PERSONAL ACCOUNT which he has every right to do and to attempt and separate his personal life from that as the CEO of Saber. But damn, Kotaku wastes no time to smear everything they see that doesn't fit.

This will not be 100% correct but I've just checked their main URL (website link name) not their subdomains and referral links but their organic traffic from the United Kingdom is estimated at 22k visits but from April to now (September) it stayed between 21k to 22k which gives them an estimated income of about 7500 a month just from people typing/clicking/wanting to view their homepage or through people randomly typing "gaming news" and what not via Google so they do have a cult following or people just get click/rage baited on to their website which is people primarily from the United Kingdom, America & Canada that adds up to about (44k US) and (18k Canada) monthly at times but globally via everything like links and what not on the internet, they do achieve a million visits in five months but most people leave in an instant because apparently the highest average viewing time is five minutes 😂.
But remember that is just from their main website URL name based in the UK they will earn a lot more then I stated that's for sure.
