Greetings, I'm the author of this TAS. Without having any kind of previous experience in both TASing and Gen 4 RNG Manipulation, this was a fairly difficult TAS to create, even more due to the fact that this is a long game and also my first TAS project. I think I remember a user by the name of "mkdasher" made a video on TH-cam performing a test run for a Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver TAS, but the description expressed how much of a pain in the ass it is to TAS these games.
@@Loner098 It's difficult due to Battle RNG. Every random element is already decided when you enter a fight and there's not much you can do other than delaying when to enter a fight or picking different kinds of moves since they also advance RNG by a variable amount. It only becomes a non-issue when you get a strong Pokémon like Raikou, but it takes nearly an hour to catch it, so you're on your own during the early game.
