Have you played a double Jake matchup? Insane, they swallow eachother to give them armor then they can swallow you while you hit them and both edge guard with it, it’s nuts

Just wanted to let you know. It’s hard to do, but with Jake: Hitting an up air, and then two up specials will ring an opponent out from the top starting from around 40%
Make sure you stretch as far as you can on the first up special and have the stun perk for it equipped,
I find myself getting a little mad when I play this game, but whenever I play Jake (my main from the beta) I just laugh the whole match
also you can bite and jump off the map with them in your mouth. I did it once when up 2-1 and won the game with that haha
People play Jake too passively, he's hype when you play aggressive as hell.
Jake commits with every move he makes, you can’t play him aggressively

I honestly think you would find some pretty crazy stuff with garnett.
If you can get over her setbacks she has A LOT going for her. Kills at like 100 consistently with multiple moves, the damage on some moves is actually ridiculous,
Obviously she doesn’t really fit in pro play meta but for a casual you can do some serious damage

Void you should try out morty cause everyone is rating him to be pretty good on tier lists and even you said he was good too yet I have never once fought a morty and have seen barely any morty videos so I'm starting to think he is not as good as everyone thinks he is

Morty is soo good he can control neutral so well. Look for Displo if u want to go up against a good morty.

I am a Harley main and seeing that Harley almost fumble the confident lead only to get a miracle up special is my fucking life with this character every stock but the last is easy
Also her dying from that spike only to immediately start throwing out bullshit hail marry hammers that prolly won't kill even if they land is the worst habit on Harley but every so often it just works and you cope hard "I read him" *was spaming a button*

I main Jason and a top tier Jake is one of my hardest matchups. He has so much reach and combos crazy.

@@ShanyeSoT because almost every platform fighter has some sort of teching. You are comparing platformers and 2d fighters so it’s not the same

So many characters rely on hitting you off the ground for combos, adding a teching system would ruin that and take away from the games identity + if you added teching Jake down air literally wouldn't work

Bro I got demolished by a dude comboing 3 skateboards into the eat move and it was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen lol I get hit once and it’s a guaranteed butt load of damage or death after like 3 times
That skateboard shit so obnoxious it really shouldnt combo into itself like that

Jake’s side air is just way worse piranha plant down B cause it trades a lot more with other moves and is very inconsistent with the hitbox
triple skateboard into bite into side special into forward tilt goes crazyyyy. Love jake sm. his stretch with the stun perk is broken, you can seriously counter anyone's upair and kill them from any HP as long as they're in the top 3rd of the screen

@@live2die694you overestimate the amount of good players on this game and no one even plays jake so not many people know how to fight him. He’s very fun to play but obviously can’t keep up with the good characters
Jake's hand having a hurt box is so bs, specially 'cause of the "handles" priority, besides that I think Jake's horse is kinda underpowered, it doesn't have as much knock back as it feels it should, maybe it was supposed to have a secondary effect like armor or armor break, if it had armor at least he would be able to approach better
he honestly needs more kill moves. they nerfed the skateboard bad since the beta. it’s the only down air in the game that doesn’t kill 🤦🏾♂️
