The way dash attacks work in this game makes me want to throw up, i hope they address that, i only ever get dash attacks when i dont want them and they get me killed when i get them

I recommend changing your deadzones in the input options. Makes it a lot easier you forward slash or dash attack whenever you need them.

The way I see it, you can't turn a character into a top tier.
They either are or they aren't.
Doesn't matter if they need tech no one knows about yet, doesn't matter if no high level player has made them their favorite, nothing really matters except the designed capabilities and limitations of the characters.
And that can only fully be known retroactively.
Most tier lists are just opinion and observation pieces of individuals.
A lot of them are based on nothing at all.
But higher skilled players are more likely to at least have good reasons for their placement of characters.
There are certainly situations where a character has one absolutely broken aspect that allows them to perform far higher than they should, and I do think it's healthy for those aspects (like infinites) to be balanced out when possible even if the character isn't even over performing with that aspect. It makes room to address their weaknesses.

top tier is only what we assume to be top tier, therefore you can make a character top tier by playing a character at a more optimal level to make it stronger than whats initially assumed
You're looking at it from a purely mechanical-based perspective. I think most people look at it from a meta-based perspective, IE: who is dominating the queues most recently. I think both perspectives are valuable in assessing a character's strength.
How do you consistently get the dash attack cause sometimes I try to do it but get a regular jab
The inputs in this game are digital instead of analog. You'd double tap forward to consistently get the dash attk

Void please we need a morty vid cause you been saying he really good and I just don’t see it from all the mortys I fought or atleast with the characters I play morty is pretty easy to out brawl and mudwall is pretty easy to avoid not to mention his snakes and grenade are super hard to hit if your opponent isn’t spamming and had an ounce of competence I just don’t see him being anything higher then B tier

Superman is a tank character lol he’s supposed to be more cheesy he almost has an infinite and his armored moves hit like a truck Superman is very good and mostly balanced just a couple cheesy moves.
Well he has to land Batbomb first then in 5 seconds get you to the top of the screen for it to kill, compared to superman hitting you into the air with an armoured move then grabbing you and boom you're dead isn't the same. Superman doesn't need to kill at the top of the screen he can kill from the floor with damn near all his moves
