- Previously, I tried using Velma in a 2v2 environment where I actually thought she wasn't that bad. But now is the real test, taking her into 1v1 matchmaking and seeing if I can succeed with her...

@@lynxishd9587 You aint wrong but her down b is SO close to being useless in singles lol. Its a mid move that you can use like once a minute. It should have an on cooldown version like garnet's grounded up special

As a level 12 velma shes aight but when ur fighting good players u notice the flaws in her kit like her recovery time compared to others her kill moves tbh its disheartening knowing every other character is just better and u can only get so far with velma but hopefully they buff her so shes A tier atleast

@@johnmarkson1998 ye tbh tho her recovery time needa be alot faster snd i noticed shes the only character where some of her attacks dont knock back after they hit like its a bug or something coming from a level 12 velma btw😭😭🙏 shes just not good compared to others but with some buffs she could be up there

You can plug most controllers into a PC and they will work. As long as it has a USB charging cable you're good. I use a PS4 controller in my PC sometimes

The Velma gut in full effect, up air hitbox inconsistent, fair hitbox is the stubbiest move ever, dair is god awful and doesn’t combo and makes you auto fast fall, camera is just a joke in comparison to black adams clap
Only thing she has is if he opponent has no dodge meter and it’s not hard against Velma when she’s slow and doesn’t have approach options
There has been an announcement that more balance is coming in the near future, so I am not buying another character until after that. I wish they can stop nerfing and start buffing certain characters and abilities, otherwise the nerfing is going to become indefinite every patch. Which will only change the meta not balance it.
Meta changes are expected in the early release stage for a game
it feels like that cause getting rid of infinite combos had to have some kind of nerf attached to it (did lebron etc need nerfs? no.). in reality nerfs and buffs are gonna come out on the same frequency. also everytime someone says "this character sucks" someone else will make a video of them going 12-0 with the character the next day.
@@johnmarkson1998 What’s wrong with infinite combo’s if there is a dodge button to essentially get out of it? It sounds like getting out of infinite combo’s is a skill issue rather than a meta issue. As long as it’s possible to get out of it, and if every character can potentially do it doesn’t really need to be nerfed because it’s on an even playing field all around. Thus not really nerfing characters but tweaking some and buffing others.
I have played plenty of games where they nerf characters/classes and buff others always changing the meta (which is fine) but nothing can be 100 percent perfectly balanced and because of this the same characters will forever be buffed and nerfed causing people not want to play a class because it’s underpowered so they find the next meta and play that, they messed with skills that made the character feel good.
The point should be every character should be OP if the person is good enough. Especially when you spend either alot of time unlocking characters or spending your hard earned money.
@@RyanB257 you cant get out though. i tried to spam dodge as jason on lebron and it didnt work. i got hit over and over until death. i still won the match yes but it wasnt fun. so they nerfed lebron to make the game more fun for me and my fellow jason players.
@@Nightwinger5100 Yes, but they don’t need go completely nerf characters, just buff others. Like i mentioned to the other person, if every class can do infinite combo’s and can also get out of them, everyone would be on a more even playing field while still feeling like their character is good enough. Instead of just gutting characters so bad they feel horrible to play this will happen with taking away combo’s etc.
Either way, everyone is going to play the meta characters, and when the meta switches people will complain, causing nerfs, changing meta, more complaining, more nerfs, more meta changes, more complaining. It’s a never ending cycle. And it really sucks when they basically force you to spend money on characters that feel horrible down the road.

I really enjoy this game but let's be honest, they havent been making great decisions, from slowing the entire game down to completely killing Velma, Stripe and Garnet but leaving Bugs, WW, Finn and Harley completely busted.
The xbox launch was brutal, no one was able to play at all, they changed to Unreal Engine 5 costing them time to actually improve the game as they had to practically start over.
Idk I'm slowly losing interest and hope for this game.
Theyve already addressed a ton of the issues you mentioned. The game being slowed was good. Thats just the facts. Its fine if you dont like it but old speed was stupid and should have been changed. Ww is for sure gonna get nerfed. Buggs will hopefully be deleted from the game. Amd heres hoping they buff garnet. All they need to do is buff her sing endlag amd startup and shes up a full tier in the list imo. Velmas already been buffed twice now and stripe is under explored atm. If your losing hope already your just impatient.

@@drdepression4605 I preferred the high speed gameplay the beta had personally and I have roughly 6,000 kills and 2k wins, so I put some good time into this game, also I wouldnt say I'm impatient, they had a full year to improve the game from beta but instead they decided to go the New Engine route.
Betas are meant to gather information on what can improve in the game, if you have a beta and leave for a year with nothing improved when you fully release, then yeah I'd say its understandable why people would lose hope.
@@NateDates and based on their information slowing the game was the move. And like I said in a month most issues should be ironed out. It takes some games these days months to be good. (Cyberpunk one of the best examples of this). I get not wanting to wait that long so maybe not impatient but it's definitely too early to lose hope
